Wild Hunter Perfect Trio Nodes

In the V Matrix you’ll also have Boost Nodes. They are there to level up your 1st – 4th job skills past their initial cap. You’ll want to level up the most useful skills for your class and those will form your perfect trios.

For Wild Hunter these are the perfect nodes you’ll want to look for,

All Useful 5th Job Skills for Wild Hunter

List of skills in order of usefulness. If you’re a boss mule just add till you can’t anymore.

  1. Decent Holy Symbol
  2. Erda Shower (only for training if boss mule you can remove)
  3. Vicious Shot
  4. Maple World Goddess’s Blessing
  5. Resistance Infantry
  6. Guided Arrow
  7. Blink
  8. Rope Lift
  9. Decent Combat Orders
  10. Decent Advanced Blessing
  11. Decent Holy Fountain
  12. True Arachnid Reflection (from Will Boss)
  13. Solar Crest (from Seren Boss)
  14. Will of Erda
  15. Erda Nova
  16. Decent Speed Infusion
  17. Decent Hyper Body
  18. Decent Mystic Door
  19. Decent Sharp Eyes

Do not level up your Decent skills past level 1 unless you’re at the end game and min/maxing to get an extra 5 stat at max level. At level 1 all your decent skills have 100% uptime since the duration will be longer than the cooldown. Holy Symbol is the only exception since you’ll get more exp and drop rate as you level it.

Wild Hunter 5th Job V Matrix Node Slot Priority

This is the order of what skills you should prioritize,

  • Boost Nodes
  • Decent Holy Symbol, Erda Shower (if boss mule you can remove Erda Shower)
  • Primal Bloom
  • Predator’s Eye
  • Overbite
  • Wild Arrow Blast Overdrive
  • Vicious Shot
  • Maple World Goddess’s Blessing
  • Resistance Infantry
  • Guided Arrow
  • Blink
  • Rope Lift
  • Erda Nova

Wild Hunter Pet Auto Buff Skills

WH only needs 2 pets with auto buff. You’ll want to have Sharp Eyes, Call of the Wild, Decent Combat Orders, and Decent Holy Symbol on the pets.

Ideally you want to buy auto buff on pets that are permanent and that you’ll always use. If you put auto buff on a vac pet but don’t revive it, you’ll lose out on that value.

Guided Arrow is a toggle you should always turn on as soon as you log in. Backstep is a situational toggle mainly used in bossing.

Wild Hunter Sequence

WH has 1 big 2 min burst. You can get away with not ring swapping but it will result in more damage if you ring swap to a WJ4 for a small 60 second burst.

The order generally does not matter since they all trigger at the same time but putting Ring Activation and Terms and Conditions last is usually the move.

Skill are,

  • For Liberty
  • Maple World Goddess’s Blessing
  • Vicious Shot
  • Primal Bloom
  • Terms and Conditions
  • Ring Activation (Ror4-6)

How To Burst On Wild Hunter (2 min and Mini Burst)

WH has a simple burst. It’s just Sequence, your low CD skills and then hold down your hurricane.

  1. Sequence
  2. Command Titan Pounce, Command Alpha Surge, Command Predators Eye
  3. Origin (synchronous hunt) or Erda Nova if Origin is not up
  4. Hold Wild Arrow Blast Overdrive
  5. Erda Nova
  6. Command Titan Pounce, Command Alpha Surge, Command Predators Eye
  7. Then hold down Wild Arrow Blast: Apex

You’ll want to press the low CD command skills as quickly as possible.

Wild Hunter Mini Burst

WH mini burst is just ring swapping and using your low CD skills. You can honestly skip the ring swap if you forget to swap back often since that will just delay your bigger burst which ends up being worse for you.

6th Job Wild Hunter HEXA Skill Priority

When starting your HEXA Matrix you’ll want to unlock everything then start putting focus on depending on if you’re a solo progression player or a party player.

If you’re a party player you’ll want to focus on your burst and getting that as high as possible. Especially important in late/end game bosses. For Wild Hunter you’ll want to focus on M1 and M2.

If you’re a solo progression player there are infographics online and in the Wild Hunter discord that you can follow.

6th Job Wild Hunter HEXA Stat Priority

For Wild Hunter, your first 3 HEXA stat node, you’ll want

  • Main Stat: Attack
  • Additional Stat: STAT
  • Additional Stat: Critical Damage

HEXA stat is an RNG type system and it doesn’t matter what you get in the beginning since it is not worth it to reroll until your entire 6th job is maxed. Once it gets to level 20 leave it there and no matter what you got it would still be at least a 2-3% FD gain.

Ideally, you want 10/10/0 but that is very costly and you shouldn’t try to go for unless you have an excess of fragments or everything is done.
