Pokémon Masters: How to get Coins and Gym Notes

In order to be great in the game Pokémon Masters you must be able to get and use items efficiently.

The best way to get coins is through the Coin Supercourse and Events. Gym Notes can be acquired through Co-Op Hard stages and Very Hard Supercourse stages.

Coins and Pearls

The best way to get the most coins is through the Coin Supercourse. The Coin Supercourse will give you Pearls which you can exchange in the shop for money. Other ways to get coins are through chapter quests, fieldwork, and events.

In Chapter 3, a Fieldwork optional quest will appear after beating Flannery. Do it and click the Pokéball in the 4th Area to get 10,000 coins.

What should you use your coins on? You should definitely spend your first chunk of coins on Move Gauge increases and getting the Evolution Shards/Crystals. The Move Gauge increase is incredibly useful and a must have if you have Pokémon that replenish the Move Gauge. The Evolution Shards and Crystals are useful when evolving and getting that nice boost in stats. Knowing who can evolve and who you should evolve is very important, check out this article if you are interested.

Level Up Manuals

Possibly the most useful item the game. Level Up Manuals are used to quickly increase your Pokémon’s level. The way to get them is through the Supercourse and Level Up Training. You want to do the Supercourse whenever you can and the Very Hard stage in Training repeatedly. This will give you the 3* manuals which are the best in the game. If you are ever stuck on stage, go level up your Pokémon and then you’ll have a much better chance.

Events are another way, but all you really need are the Supercourses and training.

Tech, Buff, and Aid Drinks

The best way to obtain these is through the Supercourse and training. Make sure to do these efficiently. While the Supercourse is always worth it to do, training is not necessary unless you are trying to evolve a specific Pokémon. If you are lost on who is the right Sync Pair to train and level up for the end game content check out this post, you’ll find out exactly who to invest in.

Buff Blend – You’ll need these to level up the Striker class

Aid Ads – You’ll need these to level up the Support class

Tech Tonic – You’ll need these to level up the Technical class

Fair warning you will need a lot of these materials when trying to max level a Sync Pair and unlock their abilities. Training stages offer great and ultra varieties of each drink. Hard and Very Hard respectively. Make sure you are doing the right ones and not wasting your time.

Another way to get these drinks is through store exchange. This method is NOT recommended because it is better to just do the training course stage. But if you’re desperate, it’s an option.

Gym Notes

Get these from Supercourse on Very Hard or Co-Op on Hard. They have a high drop rate when doing the very hard Supercourse, but since you can only do the course 3 times you might want to try farming Co-Op hard mode. The best Co-Op mission is EX Brock because it is the easiest and there are many other people doing it. Drop rate is around 10% which is low but not impossible.

You will need these Gym Notes in order to reach level 100 with your Pokémon.

Replay Tickets

Replay tickets can be found in the exchange store. Although not super useful these can be helpful when it comes to replaying a super course stage for more gym notes or pearls.

Event Exchange

Events like the current Blue event will help you get rare items and coins easier.

Blue Event Store

Although you still have to farm tickets through Co-Op they are easy and can be done repeatedly, unlike the Supercourses. Events will always offer some special kind of item. This event it is the Potential increase tickets. Make sure to get enough tickets to acquire them. Quests help a lot when it comes to these things. Completing them will give you a nice bump in tickets.

All Other Items

The items above are the most important ones to focus on. That is not to say the other items are not important they are just usually acquired along side the main items. For example Training Machines and Skill Capsules. These are important when it comes to leveling up but if you are already doing the Supercourses and training these will come along for the ride.
