Pokémon Masters EX: Best Elesa Sync Grid Builds

Elesa & Zebstrika greatly benefit from investing in their sync grid to aid in their survivability from their own recoil damage. Previously it was more common for Zebstrika to knock herself out than the opponent. Each of her builds follows a very similar format: Use Wild Charge. The variation depends on if you desire more damage or more healing.

The best sync grid build for Elesa & Zebstrika would be to go for Wild Charge Move Gauge Refresh, Electrifying! MP Refresh, and Standfast.

Sync Grid Builds

Fast & Slow Charge (2/5) is a sync level 2 build that picks up many of the standard skill tiles that makes Zebstrika a much better Striker. Paralyzing Charge (3/5) has attacks powerful against paralyzed opponents if set on a team with allies who can more quickly and consistently stun opponents. Finally, Steady Charge (3/5) is a basic, well-rounded build that opts for healing, increases in move damage and sync move damage.

Universal Upgrades

  • HP +20
  • Attack +10
  • Defense +5
  • Sp. Def +5
  • Speed +5
  • Wild Charge Move Gauge Refresh 3
  • Electrifying! MP Refresh 2
  • Standfast 5
  • Standfast 5

Universal Lucky Skill Recommendation:
Critical Strike 2

Since Wild Charge is Zebstrika’s main attack and it costs three bars on the move gauge, Wild Charge Move Gauge Refresh 3 helps decrease the costs. It will potentially gain back one bar on the move gauge after the attack is used. Similarly, Electrifying! MP Refresh 2 has the chance to regain a use of the move. Every build picks up both tiles of Standfast 5 to reduce the amount of recoil damage taken from Wild Charge.

As a Strike sync pair, Elesa & Zebstrika will always benefit the greatest from Critical Strike 2. Electrifying! will ensure the next attack will be a critical hit, but they would also be better paired with a sync pair that can raise their critical-hit rate.

Total Sync Orb Cost: 750
Total Energy Used: 60
Unique Upgrades:

  • HP +10
  • Wild Charge Power +3
  • X Attack MP Refresh 2
  • First Aid 4
  • Haste
  • Inertia

At sync level 2, Elesa & Zebstrika have access to the most necessary of tiles to make them an effective Striker. The build picks up a variety of skills concentrated on reducing their damage taken and boosting attack damage.

Adding in X Attack MP Refresh 2, which will potentially restore a use, helps make this build suited for Battle Villa. First Aid 4 will restore 40% of Zebstrika’s HP when she is low on HP once during the battle. Haste will prevent her Speed from being lowered for any reason, which helps out Inertia. Inertia increases the power of their sync move the higher Zebstrika’s Speed is raised.

Paralyzing Charge Build (Sync Level 3/5)

(build link)

Total Sync Orb Cost: 738
Total Energy Used: 59
Unique Upgrades:

  • HP +10
  • Speed +5
  • Spark Power +4
  • Wild Charge Power +3
  • Paralysis Synergy 3
  • Ramming Speed

Elesa & Zebstrika will pair well on a team that paralyzes opponents with this build. Although Spark has a chance of paralyzing an opponent, it’s best to utilize another sync pair with higher or guaranteed odds. This way Zebstrika can focus on using Wild Charge.

The move that differentiates this build is picking up Paralysis Synergy 3, which will boost the power of Zebstrika’s move when the opponent is paralyzed by 30%. Adding in Ramming Speed, which will power up moves by how much Zebstrika’s Speed is raised, will greatly increase damage taken by opponents.

Steady Charge Build (Sync Level 3/5)

(build link)

Total Sync Orb Cost: 750
Total Energy Used: 60
Unique Upgrades:

  • Speed +5
  • Wild Charge Power +3
  • First Aid 4
  • Inertia
  • Ramming Speed

With the full grid unlocked, this build picks up the tiles it needs to deal as much damage as possible and isn’t dependent on using Spark or another paralyzing ally.

For survival, First Aid 4 will heal Zebstrika for 40% of her HP when her health is low. Ramming Speed will boost the power of her attacking moves the higher her Speed has been raised and Inertia will do the same for her sync move, Shining Spotlight Wild Bolt.

If looking for a modification, the best options are to pick up more Wild Charge power +3 tiles. You may decide you do not need First Aid 4 or Inertia depending on the sync team needs.
