This is a guide on what the 6th job advancement looks like and how to finish the quest line quickly.
6th Job Short Version
Basically, after accepting the quest you’ll be given Arcane Stones which you will have to activate and fill up with EXP one at a time for a total of 9 times. 3 from the Goddesses and 6 from the Arcane River areas. EXP buffs work to help fill the Arcane Stone faster and should be used. (Only hunting mobs can fill the stone)
Once you’re done with all the stones you’ll be able to unlock 6th Job and the Hexa Matrix. Each Arcane Stone requires 50 billion EXP and with EXP buffs this should be around 15 mins per stone. Total quest time looks to be around 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on current level and access to EXP buffs.

6th Job Requirements
In order to get 6th job you must be at least Lv. 260 and have completed the Cernium quest line, up to “[Convergence] True Form”.
If you want to stop and do something else during the 6th job advancement quests, you can move outside the job advancement maps by talking to the NPC Moco.
To continue the 6th job advancement quests, you can accept the ‘[6th Job] Continuing the Job Advancement’ quest in the lightbulb icon to return to the maps.
6th Job Advancement Quest Line
Accept the quest [6th Job] Merged Dimension that is in the lightbulb on the left side. Then follow the quest line below.
- [6th Job] An Erda That Didn’t Exist Before
There will be 3 Goddesses that will give you an Arcane Stone. Activate them and fill them up with 50 billion EXP one at a time. Once you get the stone, activate it by double clicking it then leave the map through Moco and go to your best training area. Use your EXP buffs and fill up the stone. Only hunting monsters will fill up the stone. Stuff like Monster Park or Event Mini Games will not work.
When the stone is filled you can return to the map by clicking the light bulb and selecting [Job Advancement](Lv.260) [6th Job] Continue with the Job Advancement. Talk to the next Goddess and get the next stone and repeat for a total of 3 times.

At this point it shows that your Arcane Symbols are floating away and you’ll be on a map that has portals to each of the Arcane River areas. All the Arcane Stone will appear in your inventory but can only be activated one at a time. Leave the map and go back to hunting and filling up the stones.
To save some time, instead of going back and forth every time the stone is filled, just activate the next stone once the stone you’re currently working on is filled. This way you can keep your map and not waste any EXP buffs.
Once all the stones are filled you go to each of the portals starting from Vanishing Journey and enter for the mini game.

6th Job Arcane River Mini Games
The Vanishing Journey mini game is similar to the VJ weekly symbol quest. All you need to do is, when the big blob monster appears you hold down the Interact Key on the altar in the middle and shoot the beam at the blob till you defeat 3 of them.
For the Chu Chu mini game you go around Muto and click the 3 areas. You’ll have to either Spam left and right arrow key, Spam Spacebar, or press Ctrl in the yellow box 3 times.
For the Lachelein mini game you just need to kill all mobs on the map and the dark mobs will turn blue and you’ll be done.
For the Arcana mini game you need to basic attack all the trapped slimes till they are free.
For the Morass mini game you need to basic attack the red square and rotate the image till it matches the background. Do this for all the red squares.
For the Esfera mini game you just need to kill all the mobs on the map.
