Complete Commerci Guide MapleStory – Fastest Voyages and BIS Gear

San Commerci is an area that has to be added to your daily to do list. This is where you’ll get your best in slot Eye Accessory, Face Accessory, and Pendant. It can be confusing on how you obtained these items since there are a few steps involved. This guide will explain it all so you can get it as soon as possible.

The fastest Commerci runs are, After you get your Vessel to lvl. 3 (Dreadnought), doing 12 runs of Dolce with the most expensive items. Leveling up your Vessel will help you get to your end game gear faster.

Commerci Prequests Guide

In order to get to Commerci you’ll need to do the prequests first. But, you don’t have to finish all of the quests involved with Commerci. You just need to do the quests until you unlock Commerci Voyages. You can start the questline when you hit lvl. 140. The whole prequest should take around 15-20 mins.

To start, go to the lightbulb, (Lv.140) [Commerci Republic] Neinheart’s Call.

You’ll be teleported to Ereve to turn in the quest by talking to Neinheart. Then you talk to the Empress. Then talk to Neinheart and accept the Commerci quest.

You’ll be teleported to Lith Harbor to talk to Parbell.

Parbell will bring you to Commerci Republic Berry. Talk to Mayor Berry where he will give you a quest to hunt Gray Tomcat monsters. They are at the right portal of the map.

Hunt 100 Gray Tomcat and return to Mayor Berry. He will then ask you to hunt 100 Calico Timcat monsters. Two portals to the right.

Talk to Mayor Berry when you’re done. Choose the 2nd option when talking to him. Then talk to him again and he will ask you to talk to Leon Daniella. Move to the right of the map.

Eliminate the 12 cats that appear in the field and then talk to Leon Daniella.

Leon tells you to meet him at San Commerci. Keep taking the portal to the right till you reach San Commerci. There will be a short cut scene. After that talk to Tepes.

Take the next portal and enter the Trading Post. (next to the storage girl) Talk to Maestra Fiametta.

Once you’ve done all the talking there will be a lightbulb above your head. Click it. Defeat all the mobs there. Then head back and talk to Tepes.

After you finish talking to Tepes you can stop here with the questline. Go to your lightbulb and find [Commerci] Get Rich Quick.

The quest will tell you to meet Maestra Fiametta at the Trading Post. Once you finish talking to her she will start a tutorial on how to go on voyages. When you finish the tutorial you can begin to go on voyages by talking to Maestra Fiametta and clicking start trade.

How To Unlock Other Regions In Commerci?

The first region, Dolce, is unlocked for free. To unlock the other areas you’ll need to meet certain requirements. Some require Denaros to unlock.

Region:Energy UsedDenaros to UnlockVoyage Requirement
Dolce100Free
Luna1205 voyages to Dolce
Rosa15105 voyages to Luna
Herb Town20205 voyages to Rosa
Rein Harbor25505 voyages to Herb Town

What are Denaros and Where To Spend Them?

Denaro is currency that is used in Commerci. You get Denaros by going on Voyages and bringing the items. Talk to Javert to spend your Denaros. This is where the best in slot Sweetwater gear is.

  • Sweetwater Tattoo – 250 Denaro
  • Sweetwater Monocle – 250 Denaro
  • Sweetwater Pendant – 400 Denaro
  • Sweetwater Earrings – 350 Denaro

How To Get The Most Denaro For Commerci?

The most efficient way to get the most Denaro is to do 1 Rosa (colonia primo and 2 soap), 1 Luna (glasses, leather, 2 soap), and 6 Luna (all with soap) everyday. This is what you do for the Casual and 17-18 star approach

There are two methods when it comes to Commerci. They are the Casual and the Endgame methods. If you are on your main character you’ll want to do the Endgame method. If you are on a bossing mule or side character you should do the Casual

The goal of the Casual method is where you end up with 17-18 star Sweetwater Monocle and Tattoo.

The goal of the Endgame method is where you end up with 22 star Sweetwater Tattoo, 22 star Transposed Monocle, and 22 star Transposed Pendant. (more on how to get transposed later)

For both methods make sure you try to do 3 runs of CPQ everyday.

Endgame Method for Commerci

If you are on your main and want to do the Endgame method you’ll want to upgrade your boat. At Lv. 3 you’ll get 120 energy a day instead of 100. Because you’ll need a lot of Denaros for transposing and star forcing the earlier you get a Lv. 3 Vessel, the better. Once you have a Lv. 3 (Dreadnought Vessel) you’ll do the Dolce Region 12x a day taking the most expensive items you can.

In order to level up your Vessel you have to go on Voyages. The more energy and further the Voyage is, the better the EXP. You can only upgrade your Vessel when it reaches level 10.

This is how much EXP you get for each Commerci Region.

Region:Experience from each voyage
Dolce180 EXP
Luna300 EXP
Rosa420 EXP
Herb Town1000 EXP
Rein Harbor1300 EXP
Lith Harbor1900 EXP

It will also cost Denaros to upgrade your Vessel so make sure to keep that amount aside when you’re getting close to upgrading.

VesselRequirementsMax SpaceMax EnergyAttack Power
Cargo SkiffFree2 (4 at Lv. 3)100100
SailboatCargo Skiff Level 10 and 200 Denaros4100150
DreadnoughtSailboat Level 10 and 500 Denaros6120200

If you’re going Endgame you’ll want to unlock the furthest region you can as quickly as you can. Then spam that Voyage till you have a Lv. 10 Vessel, and enough Denaros, then upgrade it.

Why Should You Upgrade Your Commerci Vessel?

If you want to reach 22 stars on an item, the average amount of times you’ll destroy it and need a replacement is 11. It also cost Denaros to Transpose an item. Transposing is not a guarantee just because you have the Denaros. It costs 10 Denaros and you get 10 attempts per day with a low success chance. If you want 3 pieces of gear that have 22 stars and 2 of them being transposed, you’ll need a ton of Denaros.

Transposing the Pendant and the Monocle is ideal because you get a much better flame and an extra star worth of stats when you transpose at 16 stars.

To upgrade your Vessel, go to your equips and on the bottom there will be a Vessel button. Click that and when you have reached Lv.10 you can press the Green Up key to upgrade.

What is Transposing and How to Transpose

Transposing is when you transfer one item’s stats to another. It may sound the same as Transfer Hammer but it has some key differences.

StarforcePotential TierPotential LinesFlame StatsWeapon Soul
Transfer HammerStars minus 1Up to EpicSameDoes Not TransferTransfers
TransposeStars minus 1TransfersRerolledTransfersTransfers

When Transposing you always want to do it when your item is at 16 stars. This is because the system is designed to give you an extra stat bonus when you hit 16 again with your new item.

The big thing about Transposing is that your Flame Stat gets transferred over. End game items like Sweetwater Pendant and Sweetwater Monocle have really bad flames since they aren’t flame advantaged items. (more on that here) You’ll want to transfer your high Flame Scores to these items since these items are higher level and get more stats when starforcing.

Also, note that your Potential lines get reset so, don’t worry too much about that and just get them to Legendary tier.

There are 2 specific items that are used to Transpose. These items are dropped from bosses and have a low drop rate. These items are Dominator Pendant and Papulatus Mark.

Dominator Pendant drops from the Arkarium Boss. This boss is easy to do and can be run everyday. Make sure to keep doing Arkarium till you get 1 or 2 Dominator Pendants.

Papulatus Mark drops from the Chaos Papulatus Boss. This boss is a lot harder to do and is weekly. It only drops from the Chaos version and it has a very low drop rate. Make sure you clear Chaos Papulatus weekly.

Once you get these items, get them to 16 stars (safeguard since they are rare items) and a high Flame Score. Use the guide and Flame Calculator to determine your Flame Score. You can also get your item to Legendary or wait till after transposing.

When you have all your items ready, talk to Pietreno to transpose. (the right of the commerci map) From there you just need a bit of luck and you’ll be done! After you transpose you’ll want to keep doing Commerci Voyages since you want to get your items to 21 or 22 stars.

If you destroy a transposed item it will not revert back to the original untransposed item. The trace will keep the same flame stats and will just be at 12 stars.

How To Do Commerci Party Quest (CPQ)?

In order to do Commerci PQ you have to at least unlock Herb Town in your Voyages.

Commerci PQ is where 3 players go on a voyage together and take on the Bosses and monsters. There are 3 different voyages that you can go on and they are chosen at random

The 3 voyages are Goldway, Huntersway, and Silkway. Goldway and Huntersway are pretty much the same, having only 1 boss. Silkway has 2 bosses which is good if you’re looking for Sweetwater equipment.

Each Commerci PQ run will give you 6-7 Denaros and won’t be longer than 4 mins each. You do not use any energy when doing CPQ so it’s free Denaros if you can find 2 other people. You cannot do CPQ alone so you will need to find other people.

Commerci PQ can be done 3 times per day.

To get to the CPQ waiting area talk to Maestra Fiametta and click on Move to the Merchant Union trade location. When you’re there you can look for others who want to do CPQ.

There are 3 different channels inside the Merchant Union Trade Location. Talk to Maestra Fiametta and choose Move to another Channel. If you are meeting up with people, make sure to go to the right channel to find them.
Also, after you finish each CPQ run everyone in the party needs to talk to Maestra Fiametta and claim their loot before you can start the next run.
