Angelic Buster Best Skill Build MapleStory
Angelic Buster is a strong class that is decent at mobbing and bossing. Lots of utility skills and because you have a 2 min burst and a 1 min small burst you’ll pretty much be bursting all the time.
Best in Slot | Main | Bossing Mule |
BiS Weapon | Genesis Soul Shooter | / Abso or Arcane Soul Shooter |
BiS Secondary | Evolving Green Soul Ring | Evolving Green Soul Ring |
Class | Pirate | |
Shared Cash Shop | All Nova
Legion Effect | DEX +10/20/40/80/100
Max Link Skill | Terms and Conditions – Active Skill for Damage Buff
Primary Stat | DEX | |
Secondary Stat | STR | |
Inner Ability Top Line | +1 Attack Speed | Boss Damage +15-20% |
Does it benefit from max Attack speed | Yes
2 min or 3 min burst type? | 2 min |
For a main you’ll want to go for +1 Attack Speed IA and that plus Decent Speed Infusion and Green Pot (monster park) will get you to max attack speed. This will be ideal for bossing scenarios and helpful for mobbing by making the class feel more smooth. A boss mule can settle for boss damage on the IA top line which is much easier to get.
Evolving Green Soul Ring can be bought from any Secondary Weapon merchant. There is a vendor called Neville in Henesys Market. It is easy to get and BiS so you won’t be needing the Princess No secondary even for a bossing mule.
Settling on 15-20% Boss Damage for your top line is ok for an AB boss mule. If you’re going for harder bosses you’ll want to get +1 Attack Speed.

Sparkle Burst is your big burst skill. Press it once to deal massive damage and then again for a 10 second I-Frame afterwards. Very important to press 2 times for both effects.
Superstar Spotlight summons spotlights which shine down that give you buffs while also dealing damage to the area. Very good for both bossing and mobbing but make sure to turn the effects down if you want to see while bossing.
Mighty Mascot is a quick hold key down skill that deals big damage while also reducing damage taken while casting.
Trinity Fusion is a short cooldown utility skill that is most useful for its super stance and damage reduction. If you right click the skill in the skills window you can use this skill by just pressing Down and Trinity at the same time.

Angelic Buster Perfect Trio Nodes
In the V Matrix you’ll also have Boost Nodes. They are there to level up your 1st – 4th job skills past their initial cap. You’ll want to level up the most useful skills for your class and those will form your perfect trios.
For Angelic Buster these are the perfect nodes you’ll want to look for,
Primary Bossing Node | Secondary Mobbing Node |
Trinity | Celestial Roar |
Supreme Supernova | Soul Resonance |
Soul Seeker | Finale Ribbon |
This setup is good for both mains and boss mules. If you want to save on nodes for a boss mule, you can skip the Secondary Mobbing Node.
An explanation of perfect trios and full list of all classes and their perfect trio nodes here.
All Useful 5th Job Skills for Angelic Buster
These are all the skills you’ll need to get the most out of Angelic Buster. Any other skills are not useful and can be disassembled.
Do not level up your Decent skills past level 1 unless you’re at the end game and min/maxing to get an extra 5 stat at max level. At level 1 all your decent skills have 100% uptime since the duration will be longer than the cooldown. Holy Symbol is the only exception since you’ll get more exp and drop rate as you level it.
Decent Sharp Eyes |
Decent Combat Orders |
Decent Speed Infusion |
Overdrive |
Loaded Dice |
Grandis Goddess’s Blessing |
Erda Nova |
Decent Holy Symbol |
Blink |
Decent Advanced Blessing |
Will Of Erda |
Erda Shower |
Might of the Nova |
Rope Lift |
True Arachnid Reflection (Obtained from Will boss) |
Solar Crest (Obtained from Seren boss) |
Might of the Nova gives you an extra life when used and is similar to Bishops Heaven’s Door. It does not stack with Heaven’s Door so if you have access to both you should wait till Heaven’s Door gets used and then use Might of the Nova.
The ones that are underlined and bolded are not necessary if making a boss mule.
Angelic Buster 5th Job V Matrix Node Slot Priority
This is the order of what skills you should equip first,
- Boost Nodes, Superstar Spotlight, Trinity Fusion, Loaded Dice, Level 1 Decent Speed Infusion, Sharp Eyes
- Mighty Mascot, Sparkle Burst, Decent Combat Orders, Grandis Goddess’s Blessing
- Erda Nova, Decent Holy Symbol, Erda Shower
Maxing the skills in this order (except decents) is also ideal for bossing but if you want to get better training rates I would suggest putting more focus on Boost Nodes, Decent Holy Symbol, Superstar Spotlight, and Erda Shower.
Angelic Buster 6th Job HEXA Skills
The HEXA matrix is split up into Skill Node (6th job Origin skill), Mastery Node (enhances 4th job skills), Boost Node (5th job enhancement), and Common Node (Job specific skills)

6th Job Angelic Buster HEXA Skill Priority
When starting your HEXA Matrix you’ll want to unlock everything then start putting focus on depending on if you’re a solo progression player or a party player.
If you’re a party player you’ll want to focus on your burst and getting that as high as possible. Especially important in late/end game bosses. For Angelic Buster you’ll want to prio, HEXA Trinity, Grand Finale, and Mighty Mascot.
If you’re a solo progression player there are infographics online and in the Angelic Buster discord that you can follow.
6th Job Angelic Buster HEXA Stat Priority
For Angelic Buster, your 1st HEXA stat node, you’ll want
- Main Stat: Attack
- Additional Stat: STAT
- Additional Stat: Critical Damage
HEXA stat is an RNG type system and it doesn’t matter what you get in the beginning since it is not worth it to reroll until your entire 6th job is maxed. Once it gets to level 20 leave it there and no matter what you got it would still be at least a 2-3% FD gain.
Ideally, you want 10/10/0 but that is very costly and you shouldn’t try to go for unless you have an excess of fragments or everything is done.
