Another important skill is Exclusive Spell which is an Attack/Magic Attack buff for a 40 min duration with a long cooldown of 2 hours. All classes should have something like this and is usually referred to as Echo.

Adele 1st Job Skill Explanation
Adele’s notable 1st job skills are Magic Dispatch and High Rise.
Magic Dispatch creates shards and they help you mob and boss. You’ll get a Toggle Skill, Aetherial Arms, that will trigger this skill automatically but if you’re a main you’ll still want to have this on a key since using this every time its off cooldown will give you the best DPS in bossing.
High Rise is your air stall skill. You can either use this skill while in the air or double tap the up key while in the air to suspend in the air for a few seconds. Great for bossing.
Blade of Will will be your 1st job mobbing skill until 2nd job.

Adele 2nd Job Skill Explanation
Adele has a lot of notable skills in 2nd job. They are Aether Forge, Aetherial Arms, Impale, Resonance Rush, and Weave Infusion.
Aether Forge is a Toggle skill that helps you mob and boss. Always have this on since you’ll need this later on to summon swords to fly around you.
Aetherial Arms is a Toggle skill that will automatically create shards (Magic Dispatch) while you’re attacking. If you’re making a boss mule you don’t have to use Magic Dispatch anymore and can take it off a keybind for more simplicity. Always have this on.
Impale is a skill that is mainly linked with Resonance Rush. It will shoot out a sword based on the arrow key input and create an Aether Crystal there. This skill is to help you place an Aether Crystal where you want and quickly instead of relying on random spawns.
Resonance Rush is a very important skill that some people forget. If there are Aether Crystals on the map and you use this skill you will dash towards that crystal when in range. If you hit an enemy while using this skill you’ll get a 5% Final Damage and IED buff for a duration which can be stacked up to 2 times. You’ll want to make sure the buff is always active to deal the most damage especially in bossing. You’ll see a buff on the top right corner and when it is close to disappearing just use the skill again.
Weave Infusion is an active buff skill that boosts your Attack Speed. Very important to always have this buff active since Adele attacks can feel very slow without it. No cooldown so you don’t have to time anything.
You’ll be using Skewering instead of Blade of Will for mobbing until 3rd job.
Skill Name | Max Lvl Description | Purpose |
Aether Weaving | Obtain 5 aether at regular intervals, obtain 12 aether when Trigger skill hits, can obtain up to 300 When Aether Forge is active, every 100 aether can create 2 aether swords Up to 4 aether swords can be created at a time | Passive Skill (your gauge mechanic where you’ll save swords for certain skills) |

Impale | MP Cost: 45, Aether Cost: 15 Damage: 85%, Number of Attacks: 6, Max Enemies Hit: 6 Cooldown: 7 sec | Active Skill (helps create an Aether Crystal where you want) (can be linked with Resonance Rush if you press both quickly) |

- Hunting Degree (MAX)

Adele 3rd Job Skill Build Explanation
Adele’s 3rd job notable skills are Hunting Decree, Noble Summons, Reign of Destruction, True Nobility, and Feather Float.
Hunting Decree is a skill you press to summon Aether Swords that fly around you and help you deal damage. You can only use this skill when you have swords in your gauge and if Aether Forge is toggled on.
Noble Summons isn’t a useful skill until after 4th job. The skill will recall all Aether Swords towards you and deal damage/debuff enemies along the way. When paired with 4th job skill, Aether Bloom, it really shines in bossing.
Reign of Destruction is a summon skill that deals damage in an area for a short duration. Mainly used for bossing.
True Nobility is a shield skill that is mainly used for bossing. When you use this skill you’ll receive the damage of allies that are in the zone and gain a shield for it. There is also hyper passive that gives you damage once you have a shield which is recommended.
Feather Float is a diagonal back dash skill that acts like a teleport. Useful for getting through stuff like P1 Lotus Lasers.
You’ll be using Eviscerate as your new mobbing/bossing skill instead of Skewering until 4th job.
Skill Name | Max Lvl Description | Purpose |
Eviscerate | MP Cost: 35, Damage: 220%, Number of Attacks: 6, Max Enemies Hit: 6 | 3rd Job Mobbing Skill |
Hunting Decree | For each aether sword, Duration: 40 sec, Damage: 240%, Number of Attacks: 2 Can command up to 4 swords When you exceed the max number and a command is given, the aether sword with the least duration left vanishes When attack hits, 15% chance to create aether crystal Cooldown: 0.5 sec | Summon Skill (can summon a max 4 swords for now) |
Noble Summons | MP Cost: 50, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Damage: 260%, Number of Attacks: 4 Debuffs enemies for 30 sec During that time, Adele ignores 10% of those enemies’ DEF Each successful attack has a 90% chance to create an aether crystal Cooldown: 12 sec | Debuff Skill (links with 4th Aether Bloom for small burst of damage) |
Reign of Destruction | MP Cost: 120, Territory Duration: 7 sec, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Damage: 100%, Number of Attacks: 4 The sword turns when duration ends, attacking an additional 12 times dealing 550% damage up to 12 enemies Cooldown: 30 sec | Summon Skill (short cooldown so really only good for bossing) |

- Hero of the Flora (MAX)
- Grave Proclamation (MAX)
- Aether Bloom (MAX)
- Plummet (MAX)

Adele 4th Job Skill Explanation
For Adele’s 4th job, notable skills are Cleave, Grave Proclamation, Aether Guard, Aether Bloom, and Plummet.
Cleave is your new main mobbing and bossing skill forever.
Grave Proclamation is a skill that debuffs and marks a target. You’ll deal more damage to the marked target and all your Aether Swords and Magic Dispatch shards will focus that target.
Aether Guard is your I-Frame skill and Damage reduction. It will only block the 1st hit completely and if you keep holding it down all other hits will deal less damage. The less you hold down the key the shorter the cooldown. I suggest just tapping the key once for a quick I-Frame so you have the shortest cooldown.
Aether Bloom takes all the Aether Swords that are out and suspends them for a second and spins them so that they deal damage in the area they are in. Works best in bossing while paired with Noble Summons. After you have as many swords as possible (8) you use Noble Summons and then Aether Bloom for maximum concentrated damage. You’ll want to do this combo whenever available for the best damage uptime.
Plummet is a skill that is used in the air to bring you straight down to the ground. Very useful for stopping your momentum while flash jumping or anytime you’re in the air and want to get down faster.
Skill Name | Max Lvl Description | Purpose |
Aether Mastery | Obtain up to 400 aether Increases max aether swords that can be created with Aether Forge, and commanded with Hunting Decree, to 6 | Passive Buff (can now have up to 6 swords out with Hunting Decree) |
Cleave | MP Cost: 40, Damage: 375%, Number of Attacks: 6, Max Enemies Hit: 7 | Main Mobbing and Bossing Skill Forever |
Aether Bloom | MP Cost: 80. For each aether sword, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Damage: 650%, Number of Attacks: 8 If one enemy gets hit by Aether Bloom multiple times, the skill’s final damage on that enemy is reduced by 25% When attack hits, 50% chance to create aether crystal Cooldown: 20 sec | Mini Burst Skill (for bossing use Noble Summons first then this skill to get the most out of it) |
Grave Proclamation | MP Cost: 150, Enemies Hit: 1, Damage: 220%, Number of Attacks: 10 Increases damage to enemy with mark of death by 20%, and ignores additional 10% defense rate If there is an enemy with the mark within attack range of aether swords commanded by Hunting Decree, aether swords created with Infinity Blade, or Magic Dispatch, the attack will focus on that enemy Cooldown: 10 sec | Debuff Skill (Marks enemies so that swords and shards target that enemy)(you deal more damage to marked enemies as well) |
Aether Guard | Max HP, is reduced by 40% If you use this skill the moment you are attacked, it will nullify the damage from that attack and reduce an additional 55% from any further attacks while you’re holding the key When the skill ends, cooldown is reduced by 3.5 sec for each sec remaining in the key’s duration Cooldown: 60 sec | I-Frame Skill (1st hit is blocked and the rest is damage reduction) (the longer you hold the longer the cooldown) |
Plummet | MP Cost: 45. Drop vertically when used in the air, Damage: 550%, Max Enemies Hit: 6, Number of Attacks: 6 Cooldown: 1.5 sec | Downward Dash Skill (only used while in the air. It stops momentum and brings you straight down) |

Strive | Attack Power: +30, Boss Damage: +10%, Critical Rate: +20%, Max HP: +15% | Passive Buff |
Adele Hyper Skill Build
Adele has a standard setup for passives with a small change if you’re making a boss mule. The passives for main focus on party bossing/QoL and give you the most damage for that. If you’re making a boss mule you won’t really need stuff like Resonance Rush – Efficiency and Aether Guard – Persist and instead you’ll just be using Cleave most of the time.
Passives for Main
- Resonance Rush – Efficiency
- Reign of Destruction – Persist
- Aether Bloom – Cooldown Cutter
- True Nobility – Shield Reinforce
- Aether Guard – Persist
Passives for Boss Mule
- Trigger – Reinforce
- Trigger – Boss Rush
- Reign of Destruction – Persist
- Aether Bloom – Cooldown Cutter
- True Nobility – Shield Reinforce
Actives
- Blade Torrent
- Divine Wrath
- Shardbreaker
Blade Torrent is your class bind skill. You can also equip Erda Nova for bosses that have different phases but for a boss mule Blade Torrent is more than enough.
Divine Wrath is an active buff mainly used for bursting.
Shardbreaker is part of your mini burst skill. Very strong skill but takes a bit of getting used to in order to get all the damage off correctly.
Adele 5th Job Skills
When you reach level 200 you’ll get access to your V Matrix and new 5th job skills. The best way to level them up is through Nodestones and Experience nodes. Adele V Skills are, in order of importance, Infinity Blade, Ruin, Storm, and Legacy Restoration.
Adele 5th Job Skill Explanation
Skill Name | Max Lvl Description | Purpose |
Ruin | MP Cost: 1000, Max Enemies Hit: 15 An attack that deals 550% damage 6 times when summoned and activates 12 times After it’s summoned, an additional sword pierce deals 990% damage 9 times and activates 8 times Cooldown: 60 sec | Burst Skill (part of your mini and big burst skill since it has a shorter cooldown) (usually paired with Shardbreaker since they share the same cooldown) |
Infinity Blade | MP Cost: 1000, invincible during casting and disarmament Duration: 30 sec, creates 18 aether swords that attack 2 times with 770% damage On successful hits, 5% chance to create an aether crystal Cooldown 180 sec | Big Burst and I-Frame Skill (for 30 seconds you’ll be doing more damage) (only invincible during the cast and ending animation not in the middle) |
Legacy Restoration | 2% max MP will be consumed every sec while casting and after casting Duration: 30 sec, Damage: 45%, Aether obtained: 80%, +2 aether swords that can be commanded with Hunting Decree Periodically spreads enchanted wings to attack 6 mobs with 1980% damage 3 times and restores 10.5% of max HP for you and your party members Cooldown: 180 sec | Big Burst Buff Skill (for 30 secs you’ll get more damage and be able to summon up to 8 swords maximum) (great to pair with bloom) |
Storm | MP Cost: 500, Duration: 14 sec Automatically attacks up to 7 nearby enemies periodically, for 550% damage, 2 time(s) Upon casting, once more than 2 aether swords have been commanded, the skill’s attack count is increased by 2 for each pair of aether swords beyond those first two Cooldown: 90 sec | Burst Skill (shorter cooldown so can mini burst but you’ll want to time it so that it is up for your big burst) (must have swords out to use and try to use when you have max swords out) |
Adele Perfect Trio Nodes
In the V Matrix you’ll also have Boost Nodes. They are there to level up your 1st – 4th job skills past their initial cap. You’ll want to level up the most useful skills for your class and those will form your perfect trios.
For Adele these are the perfect nodes you’ll want to look for,
Primary Node | Secondary Node | Extra Skill |
Cleave | Magic Dispatch and Aetherial Arms | Impale, Resonance Rush, Shardbreaker |
Aether Forge and Noble Summons | Reign of Destruction and Plummet | |
Aether Bloom and Blade Torrent | Hunting Decree and Grave Proclamation |
If you’re making a main you’ll want to boost Imaple, Resonance Rush, and Shardbreaker as well. This is just 1 skill so in total you’ll have 7 skills to boost. This can be done with 5 boost nodes but some other skills will be boosted or over capped.
A boss mule will only need the Primary and Secondary node set.
An explanation of perfect trios and full list of all classes and their perfect trio nodes here.
All Useful 5th Job Skills for Adele
These are all the skills you’ll need to get the most out of Adele. Any other skills are not useful and can be disassembled.
Do not level up your Decent skills past level 1 unless you’re at the end game and min/maxing to get an extra 5 stat at max level. At level 1 all your decent skills have 100% uptime since the duration will be longer than the cooldown. Holy Symbol is the only exception since you’ll get more exp and drop rate as you level it.
Decent Sharp Eyes |
Decent Combat Orders |
Decent Speed Infusion |
Weapon Aura |
Grandis Goddess’s Blessing |
Decent Holy Symbol |
Erda Nova |
Blink |
Decent Advanced Blessing |
Will Of Erda |
Erda Shower |
Conversion Overdrive |
Impenetrable Skin |
Rope Lift |
True Arachnid Reflection (Obtained from Will boss) |
Solar Crest (Obtained from Seren boss) |
The ones that are underlined and bolded are not necessary if making a boss mule.
Adele 5th Job V Matrix Node Slot Priority
This is the order of what skills you should equip first,
- Boost Nodes, Infinity, Ruin
- Level 1 Decent Sharp Eyes, Speed Infusion, Holy Symbol
- Weapon Aura / Erda Nova (training), Storm
- Legacy Restoration, Grandis Goddess’s Blessing
- Conversion Overdrive, Level 1 Combat Orders
Maxing the skills in this order (except decents) is also ideal for bossing but if you want to get better training rates I would suggest putting more focus on Boost Nodes, Decent Holy Symbol, and Erda Shower.
Adele 6th Job HEXA Skills
The HEXA matrix is split up into Skill Node (6th job Origin skill), Mastery Node (enhances 4th job skills), Boost Node (5th job enhancement), and Common Node (Job specific skills)
You’ll get your 1st Origin skill for free once you finish the quest line and the rest you’ll have to unlock yourself. Link to a Guide for HEXA Matrix so that you’ll have the best start possible.
Node Type | Skill Name | Max Lvl Description | Purpose |
Skill Node | Maestro | MP Cost: 1200, invincible during casting Summons aether sword and 29 Chase Cuts occur which attack up to 15 enemies with 1370% damage 10 times Finally, by controlling the aether sword, 57 final blows attack up to 15 enemies with 1370% damage 14 times Cooldown: 360 sec | Big Bind and Burst Skill (This is your Origin skill which binds the boss and gives a big buff to your skills for a duration) (This bind is different than a regular bind (erda nova) which means you can use your regular bind right after your Origin bind |

Boost Node | Storm | Storm Final Damage: +60% | Passive Damage Boost to Skill |
6th Job Adele HEXA Skill Priority
When starting your HEXA Matrix you’ll want to unlock everything then start putting focus on depending on if you’re a solo progression player or a party player.
If you’re a party player you’ll want to focus on your burst and getting that as high as possible. Especially important in late/end game bosses. For Adele, you’ll want to prio Maestro, HEXA Cleave, and Legacy Restoration.
If you’re a solo progression player there are infographics online and in the Adele discord that you can follow.
6th Job Adele HEXA Stat Priority
For Adele, your 1st HEXA stat node, you’ll want
- Main Stat: Attack
- Additional Stat: STAT
- Additional Stat: Critical Damage
HEXA stat is an RNG type system and it doesn’t matter what you get in the beginning since it is not worth it to reroll until your entire 6th job is maxed. Once it gets to level 20 leave it there and no matter what you got it would still be at least a 2-3% FD gain.
Ideally, you want 10/10/0 but that is very costly and you shouldn’t try to go for unless you have an excess of fragments or everything is done.
