SINoALICE – How to Get Medals

SINoALICE like any other game has their own kind of coin shop exchange and it is important to know what to buy and not to buy from these shops.

The best way to get Medals is to do Co-op battles, Guild battles, Event battles, and summoning Grimoires. These Medals can be exchanged in your Menu > Medal Exchange.

How To Get More Charm Medals

Charm Medals can be obtained by participating in the Colosseum and using your Gear/Nightmares for limit breaking. As you can see from the image below, limit breaking the Gluttonous Scythe with 4 copies will give you 256 Charm Medals.

The description says you should sell gear/nightmare but only do this after you have used all copies and max limit break a piece of gear.

What To Buy In The Charm Medal Exchange

The best thing to buy in the Charm Medal Exchange is the SR weapon for your main class. If you’re maining a Cleric, buying the Oblivion Staff is a really good purchase and addition to your Main Gear. Other things to get are the characters that unlock Jobs like Pinocchio/Paladin and Twilight Crystals if you can afford it.

If you have a lot of Charm Medals you could buy the Arcana Lv.1 upgrades because it will increase that character’s specific job level cap and give you more stats. There are also a ton of upgrade materials you can buy if you need them.

How To Get Friend Medals

Friend Medals are limited and harder to get. The best thing is to make friends and join a good Guild and do your 3 CO-OP battles a day (5 if you purchase the Royal User service). Make sure to max out every day and this will also help you with your Daily quests.

What To Buy In The Friend Medal Exchange

The best thing to get in the Friend Medal Exchange is Character Arcana’s since they will help you increase your account as a whole with passive effects. The next thing to save up for would be some of the weapons. Don’t forget to only buy the ones that go with your choice of DPS or Support.

How To Get Medals of Desire (VII)/Event Medals

Whenever there is a banner that releases there will be a specific Medal that can be earned when you summon. It is best to save your Twilight Gems and summon on a banner that you really want and suits you. Since these medals don’t rollover and expire, it is not worth to spend a little bit on multiple banners. There is no other way to get Medals of Desire besides summoning on the Release Celebration Grimoire.

What To Buy In the Banner Medal Exchange

If you’ve taken my advice and saved your Twilight Gems and pulled on your favorite banner, you are in luck because you will be able to get so much more through the Medal Exchange. The Banner Medal Exchange will have copies of the Weapon and Character Arcana’s in them. This is great because now instead of being completely unlucky in a banner you can almost be guaranteed to at least pick up the character and weapon you want.

If you did get what you want in the banner this Medal Exchange is still fantastic because you’ll be getting extra value by getting more copies to limit break your Weapon. The conversion rate is 10 medals per Grimoire x1 summon with 100 medals for the Grimoire x11 summon. (since the 11th is free) Basically a 10 medals to 30 Twilight Gems ratio.

How To Get Event Medals

Event Medals are obtained from doing the Event Quests. The way it works is, usually, you will complete a stage and then repeat that stage 5-10 times till you get all the rewards for that stage. There will be a check off list after that battle that should keep track off. This is so that you can get all the rewards for all the stages and then transition into farming the best stage which gives the most Medals.

What To Buy In The Event Medal Exchange

If you can farm enough Medals it is probably beneficial to get everything you can in the Exchange Shop because they are all useful to a degree. Take your time and check the Event Exchange Shop first and decide how many Medals you’ll be needing to get everything you want.

In order of importance:

  1. Twilight Crystals
  2. 100 Cost Nightmare
  3. Colo Gems
  4. Story Gems
  5. Shackle
  6. Bird Mask

Everything else is optional.

Typically, you’ll want to focus on the items that will take you a long way like the featured Nightmare or Weapon. I find Skip Tickets to be very useful when it comes to maximizing the time I can spend with the Weapon Upgrade stage which appears every 2 hours or so. The rest of the stuff is also good for upgrading and increasing your weapon effectiveness, so it depends on how you want to play the game.

F2P players should focus on all the tickets and rabbits so you can get the biggest bang for your buck.
