Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross Raid Boss Guide

Now that people are finishing the story and looking for more stuff to do, they will be coming across Death Matches aka Raid Bosses. Raid Bosses are important because the drops will help you limit break your units. It might be a little confusing at first, but here is a guide to help you out.

The important thing to do when farming Bosses is to bring CC (crowd control). Also bringing heroes that can buff allies will help a lot as well.

How To Find The Raid Boss

The way to get Raid Bosses to appear is by doing Boss Battle Stages. You’ll notice that there is a bar that increases every time you finish a stage. The more the bar goes up the greater the chance a Raid Boss will appear.

Once a Raid Boss appears you’ll have 60 minutes to defeat it at whatever difficulty you set. Once you defeat the Raid Boss, you’ll get a discount buff for the town that you saved. Donations will also give you a 20% discount buff and is stackable with the saving the town buff. This will give you a 40% discount on that town’s shop. Buy stuff like Chalices and special weapon skins.

Raid Boss Demons

There are four difficulties that each Raid Boss can be and you can choose from. The more difficult the Demon, the better rewards you get. The difficulties are Normal, Hard, Extreme, and Hell. Currently, the only Raid Boss out is the Red Demon

Red Demon is unlocked after Chapter 5 and has 2 health bars.

What Heroes To Bring

The Heroes you should bring for the Red Demon are in 3 categories. Damage Dealer, Buffer, and CC’er. The Damage dealer can be anyone that has high attack damage and you can also run two damage dealers if you don’t have a Buffer.

Buffers – Red Arthur, Green Helbram, Green Gilthunder

Above heroes are great at increasing stats like attack for all allies.

CC’er – Green Gustaf, Blue King

These heroes are able to Freeze and Petrify enemies which is very useful. Gustaf is generally more useful since his Freeze only requires 1 card while King’s Petrify requires 2.

How To Use Stamps

Stamps are very important when it comes to these Co-op Raids. They can be found in your 1 time use section of your item storage. When playing a hard stage you have to be able to communicate with your ally and decide who will use what. These are the most common things that need to be said.

  • I can Stun!
  • I can Heal!
  • I can Buff!
  • I will Go First!

There are also certain stamps you can use for specific heroes. For example King has a really good ability that can petrify enemies. He has his own stamp where he can say if it is usable or not. Be careful with Petrify though, because if someone attacks after an enemy is petrified, it will break the petrification.

Communication is important for locking down the Boss so that he never has a turn to move and you can continue to beat on him until he’s down.

Stamps can be acquired from the Death Match and Vaizel Fight Festival (PVP).

Raid Boss Fight

When you get the invite to a Raid Boss or find one on your own you will enter a preparations room. First thing you should do is check your heroes and if they are the right ones you want to bring. The next thing is to see if you want to use any Food. The best food to use would be Gold gain if you are confident you can clear the Boss without stat buffs. The reason being, Raid Bosses drop a lot of Gold.

Once you’ve done all that, ready up and get into the match. While in the match make sure to send stamps about whether or not you can CC the Boss. If you’re able to get good cards you can keep the boss completely locked down and it will be a breeze.
