The villagers all throughout Britannia need your help! Complete their requests to increase your reputation in each village. Village Friendship may seem like a secondary objective, but it’s pretty important to begin raising it once you’ve completed all current story quests.

Town Friendship unlocks Material, Equipment, and Pop-up Shops. With max reputation, you’ll be able to farm SSR-tier gear and donate to the village for a discount buff.

What is Village Friendship?

Village Friendship is essentially a reputation system. To gain Friendship, you’ll need to do quests for the different villagers. Once your Friendship is high enough for a village, you’ll unlock certain benefits. These benefits are the same for each village.

Certain stages in the different areas are also unlocked with each level of Village Friendship. Some Easy stages are unlocked at Lv. 3, Normal stages are unlocked at Lv. 4, and Hard stages at Lv. 5.

Why is all this important?

The Lv. 5 Village Friendship benefits are important for a few reasons:

• Having Death Match rates increased lowers the amount of boss stages you have to farm for a Death Match encounter. You’ll save a lot of stamina if you’re trying to get that daily task finished.
• SSR-tier gear is now farmable in the different stages in the area. This means you can fully equip your heroes. Lv. 5 shops unlocked means you can purchase the gear through the shops as well, if you don’t want to spend time grinding stages or quests.
• A 30,000 gold donation to the village provides a temporary 20% discount for all items in their shops. This is great for the Pop-up Shop that appears periodically.
  

What’s the difference between all the villages?

Each village’s Equipment Shop has gear that provides a different set bonus. For example, Vanya’s Equipment Shop has a stock of Onslaught gear which is the Attack set. The first three villages are the most important for gearing your heroes.

What’s the fastest way to increase Village Friendship?

The fastest way to increase Friendship from levels 1 to 3 is to simply complete the villagers’ quests. Once you reach Lv. 4 Village Friendship, you can donate to the Village to shoot it straight to Lv. 5, but this isn’t really recommended because it costs a ton of gold (over 1.5 million).

Once you reach Lv. 4 Village Friendship, there will be two repeatable quests (red “!”). One rewards cooking ingredients and the other rewards a piece of gear. The quest with the cooking ingredients reward gives more Village Friendship than the other, so it’s suggested to grind that one since both requests require the same amount of stamina.
