Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross like all games has a currency which is used to purchase all types of things. Gold is the currency of choice and it is one of the most sought after resources in the game. This will be a guide on how to get gold and get ahead.
Gold can be obtained through Events, Raid Bosses, Selling Books, Gold Dungeons, and Hawk in the Boarhat.
SP Dungeons and Gold Dungeon
This is a place where you can get a ton of gold. The SP Dungeon uses keys as entry tickets and players receive one every 2 hours with a max holding of 10. These should be used whenever possible and you should try your best not to waste any keys and never let it get to 10 keys.
There is another type of Dungeon and the key to get in looks like a lock. Always do the Gold stage! This is important because the two other stages are the books and leveling items can be farmed with Stamina and Gold Chests can not be farmed with Stamina.
These stages will drop Gold Chests which can be sold for large amounts of Gold.
Extra 20% Selling Gold Chests
This part is important for getting the most out of your Gold Chests! When you obtain these chests you should save them and do not sell them until you need to. When you actually need to sell them, go to Boarhat and call Veronica. She will be free to summon once per day. Once you summon her, make sure she is actually in the Boarhat. Go to another section and go then go back to the Boarhat and she should appear there.
After she is there, talk to her and she will ask you for some food. Get the food and give it to her and she will grant you 20% extra Gold for an hour. Then make sure to go to a town and sell your Gold Chests to a merchant.
Events
Often times in the game events will be out and they will drop a lot of Gold Chests. Events should be done all the time because they have a chance at dropping Gold Chests and other Gold generating items.
There will be an event called Fat King Gold Chest Event where you will be able to farm Gold Chests faster. Only farming this event isn’t the best way to generate gold because it will take away your precious stamina, but it is the fastest way. So, if you’re more of a spender in game then doing this event will generate you Gold Chests quickly.
PVP Rewards
As you climb the PVP ladder you’ll be able to receive more Gold the higher you place. There is geared and ungeared PVP for advanced and beginner players respectively. Try to do as best as you can each week so that you can get a little extra Gold and rewards in your pocket.
Hawk in the Boarhat
In the Boarhat you’ll find a pig name Hawk there who, if you feed food, will give you Gold in return. Keep in mind that the type of food you give him will matter. Always give him level 5 food so that you get the maximum return on Gold. In order to make food and rank up food you need to go to Ban behind the counter and select the recipe you want to make.
Selling Books
The game has a lot of events like half stamina on dungeons for a weekend. This will be your time to go to the SP Dungeon and farm books! This is an efficient way because you can leave the game playing overnight and auto farm books. When you wake up and have a ton of books you can go and sell them all for a ton of Gold. Do not upgrade any books before selling!
Raid Bosses
Raid Bosses will give you massive amounts of Gold if you complete them. The more difficult the Boss the better the rewards so make sure to check the hardest one you can complete and do that one.
There is also something called Gold Food which if taken will 2x the Gold that is dropped. Make sure to eat Gold Food before doing Raid Bosses for a significant increase in Gold. Gold Food is made from Milk products, which can be farmed in Chapter 2.
Guild
When it comes to Guilds, you have to make sure to check in and join a Guild where everyone checks in. You’ll get significantly more Gold and some gems to go with it. Also, if you sell stuff through the Guild shop you could get 20% extra Gold!
