New datamined info has surfaced after the latest update to Pokémon Masters. Three new Sync Pairs have been added to the game and Zinnia & Rayquaza is one of these Sync Pairs. Like Giovanni & Mewtwo, this Legendary Sync Pair can be acquired through Story missions! Is this Sync Pair a good Sync Pair?
Compared to other Sync Pairs we’ve received through Story missions, Zinnia & Rayquaza isn’t the best. Their stats are average, and their moveset leaves a lot to be desired.

How good is Zinnia & Rayquaza?
Zinnia & Rayquaza will likely be useful in the Clair EX Challenge for players who didn’t get a chance to roll for Lance & Dragonite. Stellar Imagination! is a move that will be used right after Outrage. Once Rayquaza’s defenses are lowered, it will likely go down quickly after using a Draco Meteor or another Outrage, especially with its low defense stats.
This Sync Pair is simply just average, on paper, a glass cannon.
Other concerns are the few voices in the community complaining that Rayquaza doesn’t have a Mega Evolution. There’s no need to worry about this because there’s always potential for DeNa to implement it into the game, and perhaps once Zinnia & Rayquaza’s Sync Grid is revealed, this Sync Pair will be much better.
