Is it worth rolling for Fantina & Mismagius?
No, not currently! Now that Battle Villa is out, and we know there’s a daily sync pair limit, it’s likely Fantina & Mismagius won’t see any use over a stronger sync pair like Red & Charizard. None of their moves are really outstanding. Take Ominous Wind, which is not really a good move considering the RNG (random number generation) nature of it.
What saves this sync pair from falling off into complete obscurity is their ability to self buff with X Sp. Atk. and Dance with Me!. With so little bulk, however, it’s a stretch to put this sync pair into your team, especially for Battle Villa. Their post-faint passive, Backfire 2, is really just useless if they aren’t the ones to drop first.
What about other uses for this sync pair? Perhaps when Fantina & Mismagius are released, there will be a Ghost-type weak EX Challenge that will make this sync pair useful. Aside from that, judging by the way this game’s AI works, it’s likely that this sync pair will play poorly on auto mode.
Without any sync grid info, Fantina & Mismagius is just an inferior Strike sync pair. Low stats and weak attack moves and passives make this sync pair undesirable. We await more information on their sync grid.
