What is the Champion Stadium?
Have you earned all of the badges from the story? If so, face off the Kanto Elite Four and Champion in the new Champion Stadium!
Five battles, five sync pair teams, fifteen sync pairs.
Choose wisely where you use your sync pairs, since once they have participated in a battle, they will not be able to join any of the remaining battles.
The normal difficulty has a recommended level of 45, so even new players can take on the challenge. Defeat the Elite Four in any order you like to unlock the battle against the Champion.
Hard Lv. 1 recommends Lv. 125 sync pairs, but you should be able to get by with your Lv. 120 pairs with enough strategy.
Each week, the Elite Four and Champion will have different Type weaknesses and and Special Parameters. Take advantage of the parameter with your own sync team or mitigate it by facing an Elite Four member that doesn’t benefit. Watch out, the Champion will have their own Special Parameter and you will have to choose another one from one of the Elite Four Battles.
Defeating each Elite Four member and Champion will reward you with Champion Spirits and 5★ Power-Up Tickets. These tickets can be exchanged for Custom * Power-Ups to raise a sync pair to 20/20.
Earn the Kanto MVP Lv. 1 medal by using sync pairs of all 18 Types on Hard Lv. 1. It will take at least two weeks to earn since you can only bring 15 sync pairs total each week. Plan around Elite Four weaknesses, parameters, and succeed in the battles to earn the badge!
More regional challenges will come at a later time.
Who are the One-Year Anniversary sync pairs?
The Kanto Trainers that started it all: Sygna Suit Red & Charizard, Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise, and Sygna Suit Leaf & Venusaur take the stage!
Each sync pair can reach their 6★ EX Form, but which will be your first? Red was last around for the six-month anniversary, so you’ll definitely want to pick all three of them up now before they’re gone!
(You get 11 scouts for 3,000 Gems instead of 10! It’s now worth it to use the bundled scout option!)

What are 6-star EX forms?
Boost sync pairs beyond their 5★ limit and unlock a special EX outfit and an upgraded sync move. Currently only Rosa & Snivy and the three Kanto sync pairs featured for the anniversary can reach 6★.
Each sync pair will have a different upgrade depending on their role: Strike sync moves attack all opponents, Tech sync moves have increased power, and Support sync moves will double stat increases one time only after the move is used.
With the release of 6★ EX sync pairs, a log-in bonus and mission bingo will give you enough Rosa & Snivy’s Custom * Power-Ups to reach 20/20.
In order to unlock a sync pair’s 6★ EX form, you’ll need 50 Champion Spirits, which are obtainable in the Champion Stadium and Monthly Item Exchange. For one 5★ Power-Up, you’ll get 4 Champion Souls to a maximum of 10 times. The last 10 souls you need will exchange on a 1:1 basis.
Lv. 125 Level Cap
Every sync pair can now reach up to Lv. 125 by using the new items Great Buff Blend +, Great Tech Tonic +, or Great Aid Ade + and their type’s Tome, Vol. 1.
The blends can be found by completing the Lv. 120 battles in the Cap-Unlock Area and the tomes are found in the Cap-Unlock Area 2.
What are Type Skills?
Type Skills are a new mechanic that grants a bonus whenever two or more sync pairs share the same type in the battle.
Each role has a different effect: Strike will raise allies’ Attack and Sp. Atk when using the same type attacks, Support will raise the maximum HP of all allied sync pairs, and Tech will do a bit of both at a lower amount.
You will need to head to the Type Skill Area to acquire Skill Spheres.
How to train with the Legends Solo Event
Red, Blue, and Leaf want to see how strong you are and invite you to do some special training with other strong Trainers on Pasio!
Face off against Lyra, Kris, and Ethan for Part 1-4 and Rosa, Hilda, and Hilbert for Part 5 and earn event vouchers to exchange for a Move Candy Coin for each role as well as 3★ and 4★ Power-Ups!
Earn a 3★ Support Move Candy in Full-Force Battle! Round 1 and a 4★ Strike Move Candy in Round 2 by facing off against Steven, Cynthia, and Lance!
Professor Oak & Mew Event
Missed out on the sync pair Professor Oak & Mew at the six-month anniversary? Their event has returned and will be available until further notice! It allows you to unlock their level cap to the new limit of Lv. 125 as well as reaching 5/5 Move Level.
This tech sync pair is an excellent addition to your roster with the passive skill Unfortuitous 9 and the attack Swift. After using their sync move, Mew will replace its moveset with powerful attacks of three different Types.
(Professor Oak & Mew start as a 3★ sync pair, but it’s worth using 3★ and 4★ Power-Ups to raise them to 5★ as shown here.)
What are the upcoming events?
In the Vol. 13 Message from the Pokémon Masters, a few upcoming events were shared!
On Sept 3rd, the Grass-, Fire-, and Water-Type Egg Event begins where you will be able to get an Egg Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle! These Pokémon may have different move sets from the Egg given by Professor Bellis during the Egg Update.
On Sept 10th you’ll be able to play the Family Ties Story Event featuring Lillie, Gladion, and Lusamine who seem to have trouble working together as a sync team!
No doubt there’s more to come and more sync pairs to be featured.
