An Electric-type training event has recently passed and has given players access to Hau & Raichu’s Lv. 2 sync move. Some of you may be wondering what the best sync grid build to go for is.
The current best Hau & Raichu sync grid build would be to go for:
- Inertia
- X Sp. Atk. MP Refresh
- Speedy Entry
- Discharge: Power
Sync Grid Build
If players have completed the Electric-type training event, Hau & Raichu would be at Lv. 2 sync move. This means that a portion of their sync grid is not unlocked. Here is the best Lv. 2 sync move sync grid build:
Total Sync Orb Cost: 750
Total Energy Used: 60
Total Upgrades:
- Defense +10
- Discharge: Power ↑ +16 [Sync Lv2]
- HP +10
- Inertia [Sync Lv2]
- Sp. Atk +15
- Sp. Def +5
- Speed +20
- Speedy Entry 1 [Sync Lv2]
- X Sp. Atk MP Refresh 3
We build towards Speedy Entry 1 and Inertia because of the synergy. More Speed gives Hau & Raichu a faster move gauge charge for their three-bar move, Discharge. X Sp. Atk MP Refresh 3 is somewhat optional, but is the best thing to go for at Lv. 2 sync move.

Once Hau & Raichu’s Lv. 3 sync move is available, the best build would be:

This build isn’t much of a change. We exchange X Sp. Atk. MP Refresh 3 for more Discharge: Power and Discharge Move Gauge Refresh 3. This makes Hau & Raichu a more reliable Striker. You can choose between more Speed or Sp. Atk with the other nodes.
How to Farm Hau Sync Orbs
On auto, bring Hau & Raichu, SS Elesa & Rotom, and Player & Torchic, to the Ultra Hard Level Up Course. Make sure all your sync pairs are at max level. It’s a good idea to bring a max level 2★ Thunder-type bandana to be able to finish one turn earlier.
If you don’t have SS Elesa & Rotom, then it’s okay to bring a good tank/support sync pair like Rosa & Serperior. It might even be okay to leave the slot empty and have just Hau & Raichu and Player & Torchic. Try experimenting!
