Persona 5 Royal – New and Best Confidants Guide

If you’ve played Persona 5 before, you’ll know how important Confidants are and how maintaining relationships with the best ones will get you a lot further ahead. Persona 5 Royal may seem like a remake but because of all the revisions and additions you’ll find some Confidants different. 

The main confidants you’ll want to focus on in Persona 5 Royal are, Tae, Mishima, Yoshida, Hifumi, and Kawakami. Reasons explained below.

Best Confidants

Fortune (X) – Chihaya Mifune – This one makes life easier for you when maxing out other Confidants. Her only purpose is to help you increase your relationships with other Confidants quickly. Also, you can date her.

Death (XIII) – Tae Takemi – She is one of the best Confidants because of her Clinic shop. The more you invest in her the better the items you can get from the shop and cheaper as well.

Sun (XIX) –  Toranosuke Yoshida – The politician that gives you a ton of extra gains in Palaces. He excels at negotiations and getting the most out of a deal. The more you invest in him the more you can get from negotiations and even an easier time at acquiring Persona’s.

Moon (XVIII) – Yuuki Mishima – An incredible Confidant because of his abilities to grant EXP to your main party and backup party. This is incredibly important because more levels grant you more stats and increases the Persona cap. The better your stats and Persona, the better your Palace runs will be.

Temperance (XIV) – Sadayo Kawakami – The teacher, when you rank her up, allows you to slack off and essentially use her to help make you stuff. She can craft, make coffee, make curry, and do laundry for you. She is super useful and the extra time you get allows you read and do extra stuff like craft.

Star (XVII) – Hifumi Togo – A shogi genius that allows you certain advantages in the midst of battle. She can swap members out that are in danger and even allow you to escape easily.
