When playing this game, the main thing you want to do is get your favorite ninja to the highest rank it can possibly get, the beautiful A rank. Be a badass when you enter a lobby knowing you’re stronger than your enemies.

A Ninja’s Rank/POW level is determined by several factors. They are card equipment, abilities, and tools. First you achieve B rank by maxing out ninja skill cards and abilities+rank. Then, make use of Stat cards and Tools to push yourself into A rank.

Ninja Skill Cards

The best way to get ninja skill cards is to wait for your ninja’s banner and to save your gems so that you can give yourself the best odds. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee getting all the ninja skill cards necessary for your ninja. But, most of the time if you pull during the banner then you’ll get the skills. Don’t forget you also have summoning tickets you can use to help get those specific cards. Do the Surprise Attack Mission!

Abilities and Ninja Rank

Abilities and ninja rank go hand and hand. You cannot max out your ninja abilities until you max out your ninja’s rank. To max out your ninja rank you must acquire all of that ninja’s fragments. These should be in the special missions either a banner that is on rotation or one that is always there. If you don’t see your ninja’s banner don’t worry it is just off rotation and will eventually come back around.

Once your ninja is fully maxed rank you move on to unlocking abilities. Just a warning this costs quite a bit of ability points and unless you’ve been saving and farming these points, it’s gonna be hard to get. If you’re low on ability points try a farming ability points guide. Once you max out the abilities of a character and get the main jutsu cards you should be around B rank POW. 

What’s after B rank?

So, you’ve reached B rank and you’re wondering what else you can do to get to A. Well let me just say it will be hard and unless you’re willing to spend real life dollars it might be a while before you can achieve A rank. A rank is achieved when you get your POW level to 150k and above. 

In order to get to this point you must have these things. Stat cards, Maxed or almost maxed ultimate, maxed jutsu’s, ninja tools and maxed abilities. Let’s get into the main ones and how to get them.

First, Stat cards. These are the biggest factor in whether you can achieve A rank or not. A stat card is any card that has high base stats but has no jutsu’s attached. It’s even better when that stat card is ninja specific. 

How do you get stat cards? Well since these are very rare they only come around during holidays and celebrations. Bandai will have special login events or special missions where you can obtain these cards. Now to be perfectly honest there will be many times where the event card won’t be any good and the card is only good as a collectable. 

Another option that replaces stat cards is to have high level ultimate cards from other ninjas or the same ninja. Of course it is better to have those ultimate cards be the same color and as high as possible.

Next you need maxed out jutsu and close to max ultimate. In order to get maxed out jutsu you need multiple copies of that same card. You should be able to get everything you need when pulling during the banner of the ninja. If you are missing any then substitute with frogs. Frogs can be obtained easily through special attack mission. 

The hardest part of maxing out jutsu is maxing out the ultimate. Those require a specific type of frog which is hard to get and scarce. Best bet is to keep pulling until you get a minimum of 5 copies plus 1 original of the ultimate. If you do not have at least a close to max ultimate then getting A rank will be almost impossible. If you happen to miss the banner then save up as it will come around again or that ninja will be in another banner. 

Ninja Tools and Maxed Ability 

If you’re at this point already then you should already know about or have your ninja at max abilities. If you do not have max abilities then it will be very hard to A rank. Side note on abilities, you will notice that some ninjas have more abilities than others. This is due to a rework or getting a 2nd ultimate. If a ninja did get reworked then unlocking the abilities of the new ultimate will do nothing for the POW stats. So you can skip those if you don’t have the ultimate as it will do nothing for getting to A rank. 

Ninja tools will help give you that little push in POW just in case you are missing something. Currently the ninja vests give the most in terms of POW. Equipping 4 vests should give you a 4k boost in POW which will help if you don’t have max ultimate or a lacking stat card.

After A rank

Although it might seem hard, if you really budget your gems well and set proper goals then it’s definitely possible to get to A rank. I got my favorite ninja to A rank without spending any money and without a ton of grinding. All that is required is a little discipline and knowledge about the game. Now, what do you do after getting A rank with a ninja? The best thing to do is to get another ninja to A rank! Surprise Attack Missions are difficult and having a strong ninja helps a lot.
