Last Cloudia: Story Expansion Explained

Get ready—the adventure continues! Almost after 2 months since Last Cloudia’s global release, the main story has expanded and now players can continue following Kyle and friends on their journey to defeat the God of Ruin.

With the continuation of the main story, we are given new areas to explore which means a lot of rewards to grind out. On top of that, a new bonus login sheet starts today with really nice rewards, more treasure chests can be found, a new fairy appears, new top tier equipment is available, and many more additions!

New Login Bonus

To no one’s surprise, a new update means a new login bonus sheet—a good looking one if I may say so myself. Take a look at it for yourself below:

It’s only for 12 days, but the rewards are pretty great, especially for new players. We can also see on Day 12 that we will be getting the new item, Mother Soul, which is essentially a soul shard for any unit we have. This item will be very helpful for building up our favorite units when it takes 15+ soul shards to give the unit 1 single Skill Cost point.

Main Story Expansion

With the new update, SEVEN new areas have been added into the World Map which can be unlocked after finishing Blaze Garden, the area where the story ended previously. This means more corny, yet funny, story content as well as first clear rewards for the new quests! Here are the new areas in the order you unlock them and the rewards that you can get from them:

Other Additions from Update

New World Map Treasure Chests

As you progressed through the story, you may have seen the new treasure chests pop up on the map. But in case you didn’t realize, there are 3 new treasure chests that can be seen in the World Map as shown below:

Treasure Chest #23 – 1 Ancient Alchemy

Treasure Chest #24 – Lamp of Justice (accessory, +15 MND)

Treasure Chest #25 – Davan T Shirt (cloth type, +34 STR, +18 DEF, damage when failing to evade +150%, [men only] probability to avoid magic attacks)

With the 24th treasure chest put into the game, the Secret Blast Furnace now has a new reward for reaching 24 treasures chests—the current highest STR weapon available for free.

Miracle Lance – spear type, +113 STR, regular attacks have a chance to recover 3% HP

New Forest Fairy

A new fairy has been spotted in Last Cloudia—the Forest Fairy. Well, where can you find the Forest Fairy? They seem to be appearing in Midra Forest on any quest so keep an eye out for them. When it appears, the fairy looks like a small floating green orb of light and all you have to do is tap it and finish the quest to secure the fairy.

After you capture the fairy, head over to The Fairies Lab to put it in its cage and receive the current best free INT and MND robe equipment available in game.

Dryad’s Wear – robe type, +71 INT, +125 MND

Soul Spot Level Cap Increase

We can finally upgrade our Blue and Red Soul Spots by one extra level! Previously, the spots were capped at level 10 for blue and level 7 for red, so now they are available to be level 11 and 8, respectively. The costs for the upgrades are fairly high, but older players like me probably had millions of zell stacked up since we had no other use for zell, so being able to finally spend our zell on something is welcomed.

More details:

Blue Spot Level 10 to 11: 600k Zell; +120 capture rate/hr (2,520/hr total), +2,000 capacity (34,000 total)

Red Spot Level 10 to 11: 770k Blue Orbs; +60 capture rate/hr (480/hr total), +1,000 capacity (5,000 total)

Training Field

The Training Field event stays for another week. The event was set to end when the update hit, but they decided to keep it in. No idea why, but this is very good for new and old players alike who want to train up their heroes and also get great rewards from event points and the event shop (although if you gotten all the rewards previously, you can’t get any new rewards since it didn’t reset—but the exp is still nice!).

More details:

  • Event ends at 12/19/2019 11pm PST (2am EST)
  • 2x EXP & AP for the following units:
    • Shin, Lukiel, Kyle, Rei, Lilebette, Theria, and Zekus
  • Notable Rewards: 2 SR Gacha Tickets, 3 crystal clusters of all colors, 1 rainbow crystal cluster, 2 magic tomes, 2 skill books, 1 first-rate power potion, 35 soul shards for each story unit, and a good amount of Enhancement materials

Japanese Voice Overs

Finally, at long last, Japanese voice-overs have been added to the game. For all you players out there that disliked the English voice-overs, you can finally enjoy your units’ voices in Japanese! To get the Japanese voice overs:

Home screen 🡪 Menu on bottom right 🡪 Options 🡪 scroll all the way down and choose ‘Japanese’ under Voice Settings (It will be around 35.5MB to download the voice-overs.)
