Kick-Flight: Full Kickers Guide

Kick-Flight is a brand new game out that I think is quite fun. The game is a 4v4 3-minute match where you use skills and abilities to collect gems and best the enemy team. Kickers are the avatars you’ll be using in a match and it is important to know everything that has to do with Kickers when playing the game.

This guide will discuss how to get Kickers, Kicker Types, Training, and much more!

How To Obtain Kickers

There are two ways to obtain Kickers, Regular Scout and Special Scout. Both ways require you to use Kicker Scout Tickets. The difference between the two is that Special Scout will require 2 Kicker Scout Tickets for a Kicker with a special costume while Regular Scout only requires 1 Ticket and no special costume.

Kicker Scout Tickets can be obtained from daily gifts, leveling up, and hitting a certain number of pulls in the Disc Shop.

By level 10 or so you should have enough tickets to get all the Kickers. The registration bonus gives 3 tickets and with daily gifts and leveling you should have around 13 tickets.

I advise you to go for Regular Scout first and get all 13 Kickers first before you do the Special Scout. There are no duplicates in this game (just different costumes) so every time you do a Regular Scout you’ll get a Kicker you didn’t have before (for the first 13). Also after you get all the Kickers if you scout again you’ll receive 2 normal Gears in addition to a Designated Gear. This way you’ll be able to try all Kickers and find the one that fits your play style. You can check the pool of who is left by going to the “i” icon in regular scout.

Another reason to not do any Special Scouts is because it will mess with your Regular Scout. If you get a new Kicker through Special Scouts it will not count towards the Regular Scout so you’ll have to spend more Tickets to get the whole roster. Check the images below.

So for example, I have Anna Starling with a Special Costume.

But when I got to Regular Scout she still appears in the pool of Kickers I can get.

So now when I try to obtain the rest of the Kickers it will be more difficult since I have less tickets. This could mean missing out on Kite or Coco since tickets are hard to come by.

Kicker Types

There are 4 Kicker Types.

  • Speed: Excels in movement ability
  • Attack: Excels in attack power
  • Tank: Excels in durability and defense
  • Support: Excels in ally support and opponent obstruction

If you are ever playing with friends on a team it’s a good idea to choose different role types in order to maximize efficient play.

Kicker Skill and Special Skill

The Kicker Skill and Special Skill are where each Kicker has their own unique abilities.

The Kicker Skill icon is the one above the big circle in the middle. (Special Skill)

The Special Skill is the ultimate that each Kicker possesses. It is the big circle icon in the middle of your other Discs.

The Special Skill Gauge is charged up by moving around and taking out opponents. The Special Skill Gauge can go down if you get killed. This skill is super important depending on who you use. Try to always be charging your Special Skill Gauge and using them in a match.

The way to check a Kicker’s skill and Special skill is through the Kicker Tab on the left of Battle.

*Top is Special skill and bottom is Kicker skill.

For more details click on the “i” icon and you’ll get detailed information about that Kicker.

Kicker Ability

In the Kicker detailed information section you’ll notice something called Ability. An Ability is a unique passive that every Kicker has. They are all different and knowing them and using them to your advantage is what will help you win the match.

Training

In the Kicker Tab you’ll notice there is a Training and Challenges section above Costumes/Gears. When you obtain a new Kicker you should always read the skills and then do the Training. The Training section will give you rewards for doing certain tasks and help you learn the Kicker.

There are 4 Training stages and levels of difficulty. They go from Easy, Normal, Hard to Very Hard. Hard and Very Hard are only unlocked when you’ve reached S rank.

What is Gear?

Every Kicker will have Gear options that can increase stats and shorten cooldowns. There are two types of Gears, Designate, and Basic. The first time you obtain a Kicker you will get a free Designate Gear.

  • Designate gear is gear that is exclusive to that Kicker.
  • Basic gear is gear that can be used by all Kickers.

Gears can come in different rarities. The amount of ★’s determine how good the Gear is. There are also Gear sets. If you use all Gears of the same brand then there will be a synchronization bonus effect that will make them even stronger.

A Kicker can only use up to 3 Gears and Gears can be obtained from Training, Challenges, and Leveling up.
*Note that when you switch out Gears the one you switch out will be discarded.
