Coming alongside the 10m download celebration, we’re getting a rerun of the first summer banner. That means an extra shot at Lancer Tamamo, Lancer Kiyohime, Rider Mordred, and Archer Anne & Mary. Keep in mind every character featured on the banner is limited. Lancer Tamamo has had extra availability for paying players in the GSSR, but this could be your last chance to get your hands on the SR lot!
The 10m Download Banner is worth your quartz. Particularly the SR options like Summer Tamamo and Summer Mordred.
10 Million Download Pickup Summon
Tamamo will be available every day as a solo SSR rate up, but the rest of the limited servants rotate. The schedule loops through two days of the complete banner, then one day each with Anne & Mary, Kiyohime, and Mordred as solo SR. If you just want summer characters, the group days are the best, as almost any SR you roll will be one of the three featured. If you want one specific SR, you should roll on the solo days. As an uncommon treat, this banner has a solid day where you can simultaneously roll for a great boss-killer and a great farmer.
As far as individual quality, Mordred and Tamamo are worth talking about in-depth and will be discussed further down the article. The other pair aren’t particularly good or bad enough to need depth analysis.
Anne & Mary are basically a carbon copy of their Rider version, which means they’re good, but not spectacular. They like to crit for the most part, and Caribbean Free Bird, Act 2 can punch far above its weight class when used after a Pirate’s Honor revival.
Kiyohime is a little more complex. Her first skill is pretty medium, and Pursuer of Love, her enemy defense down/attack up, isn’t much more powerful than similar skills despite having a pretty sizable downside. Bathing Transformation is simple, but it does give her a very solid punch when used alongside Pursuer. Ultimately, she’s also just good, but with a lot more pronounced highs and lows.

Is it worth rolling for Summer Tamamo?
Yes, it is. People are often drawn immediately to Tamamo’s NP and hem her in as an exclusively Anti-Male Lancer. While this would be a pretty strong role already given how wide gender-based niches are, she’s worth a lot more than just her ability to put the hurt on pesky male bosses.
To start, her hidden stats are quite solid outside of below-average star weight. She can make up for that weakness with the star generation buff on Beach Flower if the supports you’re taking with her are male themselves. Luckily enough, with the exception of Nightingale, virtually every support suited to her is male. Her NP Generation and star generation make it very easy for her to build exceedingly strong utility brave chains.
Of course, the real kicker is Goddess Morph. Under it, Tamamo is significantly and simultaneously better at pretty much everything other than using her NP. As an example, a critical AQQ chain from Tamamo will completely charge her NP when using Goddess Morph. The self-stun rider for the next turn can be mitigated in numerous ways, but it cannot be resisted. Debuff immunity or healing will work and can be found on certain CEs and Mystic codes. Even without any extra investment, counting cards allows you to use it prior to turns where Tamamo won’t draw anything to use.
Finally, Midsummer Curse allows her to increase the party’s damage and manipulate an enemy Noble Phantasm in both directions. Using it against an opponent whose NP is already charged delays them by a turn because of the Charm. Alternatively, you can also use it to intentionally charge an enemy to align multiple enemy NPs. This is very useful when avoiding damage by using invincibility or evasion. It can take a little bit of moment-to-moment decision making, but effective use of this skill seriously hampers enemies.

Is it worth rolling for Summer Mordred?
Absolutely; in fact, Mordred is the strongest pull on the banner. She may not initially look like much, but three factors make her NP one of the strongest farming options in the game. First, it is an AoE Arts Noble Phantasm, this means it charges 15 Arts hits. Secondly, Riders have class advantage against Casters, who give 20% more NP charge when hit. Finally, its high hit count allows it to get many overkill hits, each of which has another charge bonus.
Once everything is tallied, if Mordred gets the maximum amount of overkill her Noble Phantasm recharges itself by 72% with only her own buffs. From there, a friend support Nero Bride [or Paracelsus after his upcoming buff] can provide enough improved NP generation to cause Prydwen to completely recharge itself. You’ll find yourself spending lots of time beating up QP doors as you play Grand Order, and Mordred makes it positively painless. Other nodes aren’t always perfect sets of nine casters that can be overkilled, of course, but consider that this ideal scenario leaves a team slot open and isn’t using Craft Essences. Those slots can be used to mitigate less-than-ideal circumstances.
Most notably, Mordred’s attack is mediocre. This means Prydwen doesn’t do much damage without external support. When factoring in supports it will usually be able to kill Casters, but overkill may be difficult to produce. However, duplicate Mordreds are a huge bonus. For most characters, upgrading their NP is low value. Face cards provide a much greater portion of your damage in challenge content and when farming you’re usually more concerned with clearing the wave at all; overkill is wasted. Mordred is a rare exception because higher NP levels help her clear bulky final waves and help her live up to her looping potential.
Outside of that, Rodeo Flip provides some emergency protection if things go wrong, alongside a nice chunk of stars on wave two to support critting down wave three bosses who survive Prydwen. It’s a good skill, but nothing to write home about. Perpetual Summer, on the other hand, lives up to its name. Whether it provides the basic charge Mordred needs to get things started or covers up for spotty overkill, the 30% NP battery on it is gonna bring in Summer and keep it there. The Guts certainly doesn’t hurt in the event that things go wrong.
As things currently stand most events get one rerun, and Summer 1 already had its rerun last year. For event-limited SSRs, we frequently see them show up at least in the GSSR during Anniversaries and New Years, but SRs are a different story. Rider Mordred may never be available again after this banner and despite her age she is a premier option for farming Caster nodes. If you had even the faintest consideration as to whether or not you should give her a shot during the 10m DL celebration, she is worth the banner alone. I would even encourage players who already have Rider Mordred to consider this banner as Mordred is a rare example of a character who benefits heavily from dupes.
