Digimon ReArise: How to Digivolve to Mega

Digimon ReArise is Bandai’s newest Digimon mobile game and there are a couple things that aren’t clear. For example the process of digivolving your Digimon to Mega.

The core things you need to get to Mega Digivolution is Bond, Upgrading, and Working out. Also keep in mind not every Digimon can reach Mega. When digivolving to Mega you are going to need a ton of resources and spend a lot of time grinding for materials. But it will be worth it when you reach that super cool Mega form!

Digivolution Steps

In order to get to that Mega form you first have to check if your Digimon can even get to Mega. When you are doing a Summon and the orb color is rainbow then you know that Digimon can become a Mega. Be sure to look your Megas! If you are trying to check if one of the Digimon you have can become Mega then you go to Digimon List and select the specific Digimon and profile.

Once you decide on the Digimon you want to get to Mega, you go to Train and start working on the requirements.

Upgrade

This one is simple you just upgrade your Digimons level until it reaches the maximum or the Digivolution Condition. In order to get more bit for upgrades make sure to do the Bit Vortex whenever it is up. Doing the Hard stage with all your Digimon in a superb mood will give you tons of Bit!

Bond

Another requirement is Bond. This one is also simple, in order to increase Bond you go to your care map and you feed them their favorite food or any food. Their favorite food will give more exp towards Bond.

How to Increase the Level Cap

Now you might be confused that your digivolution requirement is Lv 60 while your max upgrade is only Lv 40. This is where Awakening/Workout comes in. In order to increase your level cap you must complete all the workouts the stage requires.

Doing the workout will give you a stamp. Once you get all the stamps you can Awaken which will raise your level cap and at the highest level, allowing you to digivolve.

Workout/Awakening

Now that you know how important the Workout is, you are going to need to know where to get the materials needed. The Dimensional Vortex is where you go to get all your materials. The Vortexes unlock at different times. Make sure to check when the Vortex you need is going to unlock. Remember that Digimon require different materials so check with your Digimon first before blindly doing all the Vortexes.

The Vortex is not the only way to get these materials, you can find them in story mode as well so you aren’t restricted to the Dimensional Vortex.

Digivolution

After farming all those materials and Bits, it is not over! The last step is to go through with digivolution but digivolving also has requirements. Besides the level and Bond requirement you also need to get more materials in the form of DGV-Codes. Now here is where it gets a little complicated.

Here are two pictures of Ultimate Digimon and their requirements to become Mega. Do you see the big difference? Some Digimon like MetalGreymon require a special DGV-Code that can only be acquired through Clash Battles. This happens when there is a summon banner for a rare and strong Digimon. Because they are more powerful they require extra farming. When farming for these specific DGV-Codes you have to join Clash Battles that are Level 4 and higher in order to get a chance at the drop.

If you are searching for the elemental DGV-Codes then you join the Clash Battles that have the element that you are looking for. The more damage you do, the more materials you will get. Do not worry if you do not get the DGV-Codes you need and the event ends. You will be able to purchase them in the CB shop when the event ends or you can search for the battles again. Go to Clash Battles and in the upper left corner there is Clash Battle Search where you can fight the Digimon again to get the DGV-Codes.

Mega Digimon

Now that you know how to get your Digimon to Mega, it is time to decide what Digimon you want to get to Mega. Not all Digimon are created equal and only some are worth your time. To find out which ones are worth while and strong check out the JP tier list. Since they are ahead of us in content you will know which ones are strong past the current meta.
