Digimon ReArise has come out with a steady stream of content in the form of Underworld levels. At first, on global release, there were 50 floors, and now every month or so they’ve been releasing 10 floors consistently. Some stages are harder than others but the overall difficulty is increasing.
Clearing Underworld will depend heavily on team composition. Make sure you have your tanky and heavy damage Digimon max leveled and with very good Plugins. If you have all maxed Mega Digimon then it should be easy for you to clear floors 1-50 on auto.
Floors 1-50
When it comes to the first 50 floors they are relatively easy if you have maxed Digimon. Keep in mind if you are ever stuck to adjust your team. For example, if Shock is really messing you up, it might be best to bring someone who can resist it. Since your status is reset after every round Status Resist is not as important. But if your entire team is put to sleep or shocked, you will be taking big damage till you recover so beware of that.
Keep your skills in mind and make sure to use them appropriately. Unlike Battle Park, you will have access to the partner skill gauge. Give your partner some thought as it is very important because it’s basically a free skill for you to use whenever you have the gauge filled. It is also advised to bring a healer. A healer will have huge impact in the Underworld since you have to go through 3 rounds.
Floors 50+
This is when Underworld gets a little tricky and hard. The Digimon will hit harder and be so much more tanky. In order to counteract them you must also increase your damage and defense. Consider upgrade and ranking up your Plugins and even increasing your Digimons skill level with Digiorbs. If you’ve gotten up to this point then you should have a couple gold Plugins that you received as a reward for clearing some Underworld stages. They will give you a big boost in damage and defense. (Remember to always have your Digimon at Superb mood for free stats!)
The best thing to do when trying to clear Underworld is to buff up your Digimon. Digimon like HiAndromon can increase your defense and provide shock. Bring Digimon that will either power up TEC or PWR depending on the setup that you run and you will blast through the stages. A Mega Digimon healer is also very useful. I say Mega because Ultimate Digimon rarely have the stats to compete.
Useful Digimon
This is not a complete list of Digimon as I cannot cover them all. But this is generally what I use and see other people use. Since they are releasing new Digimon all the time, this is likely to change.
Creepymon – Strong and has the ability to heal himself
Wargreymon – High single target damage allows you to clear an enemy quickly
Minervamon – Very strong with multi target moves that have a chance to poison
Phoenixmon – Very tanky with lots of status effects and also a great heal
Titamon – This Digimon is a Brave team staple, he nullifies most status effects, and while decreasing enemy resistance he increases block rate for all allies
MetalGarurumon – same as Wargreymon, great single target damage while nullifying paralysis for all allies
HiAndromon – Great defense buffs and able to inflict Shock status
Gankoomon – He cannot be inflicted with status and also makes your allies more resistant to TEC or PWR depending on his skill
Team Composition
Now that you know which Digimon are useful you should learn about how to properly setup your team. In story mode you can brute force all the chapters and probably clear it with just 1 strong Digimon. But, when it comes to harder and late game content you are going to need a balanced team to assist you. Generally you want to have 1 healer, 1 buffer, and a mix of status and heavy damage Digimon.
But, this will only help you clear basic content. When fighting something you cannot beat it is best to find out how you are losing. Are you getting hit by status a lot? If so, bring a Digimon that can resist it. If you are just not surviving, then consider bringing healers and defense buffers. The game is all about adapting and it is in your best interest to find out how enemy Digimon work and their skills.
