The Battle Park is a great place to get a lot of DigiRuby and BP Medals. But, it is not to be taken lightly. When you reach your Rank A and Rank S promotional battles you will uncover a different beast. Here’s how you can slay that beast known as Tamer A and Tamer S.
The best way to beat Tamer A and win Rank A promotional battle is to bring status effect Digimon!! I cannot stress enough how useful they are. Also, raise your speed so that you can go first and keep trying to inflict negative status effects! Try not to bring healers as they slow you down.
Rank A Promotional Battle
After you win your Rank B promotional battle is when you will experience a lot of difficulty in the promotional battles. It is not advised to rush to the Rank A promotional battle until you are ready. If possible try to time it so that you reach around the end of of the Battle Park season. The reason being is that if you cannot beat the Rank A tamer then you will be stuck in a loop and be unable to climb the ranks until you defeat him. This means that you will continuously lose rank and DigiRuby everytime you fail.
First things first, make sure your Digimon are in a superb mood every time you attempt to clear these Tamer battles. The critical hit chance and block rate are increased when Digimon are in a superb mood and you will need all the help you can get when clearing these matches. Also, make sure your plugins are leveled up and given to your Digimon. This is very important as it will give you the extra stats necessary to win! Check out this post for a complete Plugin guide. Finally, make sure you’re Digimon are at max level. Getting to max level will just give you the extra stats necessary to fight.
These are the Digimon I used to clear both Rank A and Rank S Tamers. Let me explain their roles.
Wargreymon – My heavy hitter, he is there to do massive single target damage and basically one shot an enemy off the field. Best used after you’ve done your status moves. Even if you’re Skill 1 doesn’t kill, there is a chance it can stun an enemy.
Pumpkinmon – The Digimon I lead off with. If you participated in the Halloween event then you had the chance to get this superb Digimon. Although he is only an ultimate, don’t sleep on this one. Pumpkinmon has the stats of a Mega and with his designated plugins he becomes even stronger and can have over 60+ speed! Once the battle starts, lead with his Skill 1 and hopefully you can stun 3 Digimon.
Sakuyamon – Right after Pumpkinmon’s Skill 1, use Sakuyamon’s Skill 1. She has the ability to Skill lock all targets which is very useful when it comes to clearing matches.
Minervamon – A Digimon with strong multi target moves and has the chance to inflict Poison. Very useful for doing damage to all enemies and applying Poison for extra damage.
Boltmon – Boltmon is very strong and has the ability to attack multiple targets and inflict Burn. His Skill 1 does a ton of damage and should be used whenever it is up.
There are many teams you can use to clear this Promotional Battle, but the thing that all teams will have in common is that they bring a good amount of status effects and speed. Don’t feel discouraged when you fail and lose, just try again and eventually you will succeed. As long as you can attack first and have a skill that can disable some if not all enemies then you will be good!
Rank S Promotional Battle
After you have cleared your Rank A promotional battle the next step is to clear the last Rank S promotional battle! When you clear this stage you will receive DigiRuby, BP Medal, and a MegaGargomon egg! This battle is a lot easier than one would think. I used the same team for the Rank A promotional battle and had no trouble clearing this one. The same tips apply so just refer to the Rank A section. Remember if you’re struggling, have fast status effects and also upgrade your Plugins for strength and tankiness. It is generally better to leave your healers out of these battles since they have really low speed and you won’t really get good opportunities to heal since the enemy is so strong.
Other Useful Digimon
Some other useful Digimon that will help you clear these Promotional Battles are listed below.
HiAndromon – HiAndromon is great to any team because he has a great passive, main and sub skill. He can increase your team’s defense and block rate. He can also inflict shock which is a super annoying skill to play against but will benefit you greatly.
NoblePumpkinmon – This Digimon has a good passive and a decent sub skill which can inflict sleep on three targets. The Main Skill increases your teams TEC and increases your teams PWR resistance. So you will get stronger and more tanky if you have TEC allies and PWR enemies.
Piedmon – Piedmon is great for inflicting Blind and has a lot of chances to do so. Also a very strong attacker since he can increase his own TEC and Pinpoint Rate.
Ebemon – Ebemon is great because his moves reduce the enemy Critical Rate and Defense while also inflicting Error.
