Arknights: How to Clear Annihilation 1 400/400 Guide

If you need Battle Records (EXP), LMD (money), Orundum, or Certificates quickly and haven’t done your weekly Annihilation runs then you are missing out! Get up to over 100k LMD, 1600+ Orundum, and over 80 Battle Records every week just for clearing two stages.

In order to clear Annihilation 1 you need decently leveled and correctly placed operators. The guide below will go through Chernobog so that you can get that 400/400 and move on to Annihilation 2 which will be in the next guide.

Annihilation – Chernobog

Team composition is important when it comes to clearing these hard levels efficiently. Try to have all units at least at E1.

Vanguards

Run 2 Vanguards. If you need free options choose a combination of Courier, Plume, or Fang. But if you have stronger options you should definitely choose those! Just be careful with DP since you can only get DP from Vanguards.

Casters

Run an AoE (Area of Effect) Caster and a ST (Single Target) one. Lava and Amiya will do the job.

Anti-air Snipers

2 Snipers, Jessica and Kroos are free operators that can do the job just fine.

Medics

2 Medics, Hibiscus and Ansel are free ones that work. Check out the leaks for the New Hibiscus skin, she looks amazing!

Defenders

2 Defenders such as Beagle and even Noir Corne will work.

Guard

1 Guard for the high DPS. Melantha is an operator that works extremely well.

Specialist

A Specialist that can push units. Shaw is free one that everyone can get. Shaw can be level 1 and still do the job.

*Please note that I was able to clear this level with drastically lower level operators on week 1. All you need is to be able to E1 your operators and have them at least at level 4 skills.

Step by Step Guide

First you need to drop your 2 Vanguards. Remember they are your only source of DP in this mode. Also drop your Anti-air Sniper in the back.

Then when you have enough DP, drop your AoE Caster.

Then drop a Medic down. At this point there should be no problems and you should be chilling but drop the Medic down for support.

Next, drop Shaw facing upwards on the top right. Also, drop another Medic facing towards the right on top of your Caster to protect Shaw.

Drop a Defender next so that Shaw can push enemies to their demise.

Since the top side is a little weak and not all enemies can be pushed off, drop your ST Caster up top.

When the big strong looking guys come out, retreat your front Vanguard before they die and drop a Defender in the back. Speed the game up 2x as you will have no problem clearing stuff until about 350 kills.

At 350 kills you will need to retreat your Vanguard and ST Caster to deal with the enemies going up. You want to wait until the enemy casters reach the range of your guard before deploying. Keep using operator abilities to help clear faster.

Drop a Sniper and Guard to take care of them.

Once the big guy with the axe is taken care of retreat them both.

Drop Vanguards on the bottom to help clear out and stall enemies. Once clear you can retreat and put down your ST Caster to help do damage. Keep using operator abilities to help clear faster.

Crownslayer should be out and make sure you have your guard almost ready to go. After your Vanguard gets a couple hits off, retreat and drop Guard facing upwards

Block the area above your defender so that Crownslayer does not pass. At this point you should have no problems and victory is in sight!

Congrats! Now you can move on to Annihilation 2 Lungmen: Outskirts. Check out our guide on that if you need help with that one as well.
