All Buffs You Can Get For Bossing – MapleStory

Bossing is important when it comes to MapleStory. It’s how you get better equips, meso, and free cubes. Since it is so important you should know all the buffs that you can get in order to make the boss clearable or easier. Mainly going to cover buffs that everyone can obtain and not class specific buffs.

All the Buffs I Use When Bossing

These are all the important buffs I take while bossing. My highest level is Pathfinder and this is what i use but, everything should be the same for all characters with minor adjustments like Red or Blue monster park potion, if your class needs Green pot, STR/DEX/INT/LUK X potion, and Attack or Magic Attack X potion.

I would add in some of the other stackable buffs like MVP superpower only if I’m trying to min clear a boss or if I’m really struggling to clear.

Special Class Buffs

There are 2 important buffs that you can get from other classes that can really help when you’re doing hard bosses. They are Wild Hunter’s Call of the Wild Buff, and Bishop’s Heaven’s Door buff. There are other buffs but these 2 are the most important and have the most impact. 

Call of the Wild (WH Buff) gives Party Attack Power and Magic ATT: +10%. This skill is affected by Buff Duration so if you get this buff, try to get it from someone that has a lot of Buff Duration so it can be as long as possible. 13-14 mins 

Heaven’s Door (Bish Door) gives you an extra life. It will be the 1st life gone and won’t reduce your life counter. Really great when you’re doing a newer boss or struggle to stay alive while clearing a boss.

I only get these buffs if I’m learning a boss and if my friends are available to help out.

Boss Mule Buffs

These are the buffs I would take on my Lomein (Lotus and Damein) boss mules and under. Generally around 6-12 mil CP. 

• Extreme Red Potion or Extreme Blue Potion
• Extreme Green Potion (optional)
• Fame Buff
• Legion’s Might
• Masarayu’s Gift Atmospheric Effect (Ursus Buff)

You really don’t need much when it comes to this range of bosses. If you’re in a guild you can add in Greater Blessing of the Guild or Guild skills but it’s a bit overkill and a waste of time since you’ll most likely be required to do Culvert for the guild skills. What’s more important for damage will be your nodes. Info on your classes’ perfect nodes and setup here.

For Hard Lotus boss mules I would definitely join a guild and get guild skills. I would highly recommend adding these buffs for Hard Lotus boss mules.

• Fatal Strike 1 Special Node Stone – not really a buff but will greatly speed up your boss runs
