All Buffs You Can Get For Bossing – MapleStory

Bossing is important when it comes to MapleStory. It’s how you get better equips, meso, and free cubes. Since it is so important you should know all the buffs that you can get in order to make the boss clearable or easier. Mainly going to cover buffs that everyone can obtain and not class specific buffs.

All the Buffs I Use When Bossing

These are all the important buffs I take while bossing. My highest level is Pathfinder and this is what i use but, everything should be the same for all characters with minor adjustments like Red or Blue monster park potion, if your class needs Green pot, STR/DEX/INT/LUK X potion, and Attack or Magic Attack X potion.

I would add in some of the other stackable buffs like MVP superpower only if I’m trying to min clear a boss or if I’m really struggling to clear.

Sayram and Aurelia Elixir Buffs

There are 2 purchasable buffs, for meso, that you have access to once you complete the [Collector’s Request] quest line. One will give you the the same effect of Bishop Door and the another one will give buffs to Boss Damage, Crit Damage, Crit Rate, ATK/MATK, and HP/MP. Elixirs cost 2 mil meso each.

Sayram’s Elixir Effect

• Max HP & MP +1750
• Attack & Magic Attack +10%
• Attack & Magic Attack +50
• Boss Damage +10%
• Critical Damage +16%
• Critical Rate +20%

Aurelia’s Elixir Effect

• Ignores a Fatal Attack Once

These can be purchased from The Collector. (The one you sell your boss crystals to) You can only purchase them after you complete the [Collector’s Request] quest line. You need to be level 200 and above to see the quest in your available quests. It’s just a bunch of NPC chatting and won’t take longer than 5 minutes.

Boss Mule Buffs

These are the buffs I would take on my Lomein (Lotus and Damein) boss mules and under. Generally around 6-12 mil CP.

• Legion’s Might
• Masarayu’s Gift Atmospheric Effect (Ursus Buff)
• Sayram’s Elixir

You really don’t need much when it comes to this range of bosses. If you’re in a guild you can add in Greater Blessing of the Guild or Guild skills but it’s a bit overkill and a waste of time since you’ll most likely be required to do Culvert for the guild skills. What’s more important for damage will be your nodes. Info on your classes’ perfect nodes and setup here.

For Hard Lotus boss mules I would definitely join a guild and get guild skills. I would highly recommend adding these buffs for Hard Lotus boss mules.
