Is it worth rolling for Guzma & Golisopod?

Yes, it is! Guzma & Golisopod has one of the highest Attack stats in the game. Compared to other Bug-type sync pairs like Bugsy & Beedrill, Guzma & Golisopod outclasses them all in overall offense and defense.

Although First Impression can only be used once per battle, because of its effect, it’s a strong starter and when combined with Burst In, a sync grid upgrade, it’s a devastating attack. A barrage of Pin Missile will be the follow up and since it’s a two-bar move you’ll be charging up your sync move quickly. Pin Missile works well with high Attack and critical hits, so together with Dire Hit + and Beat ‘Em Down! this sync pair will do tons of damage!

Their passive, Danger Dodge 2 is decent on its own, but when paired with the sync grid upgrade, First Aid 4, they became way better. In fact, most of their sync grid upgrades are very good! You may have noticed that a lot of Guzma & Golisopod’s usefulness comes from sync grid upgrades. That’s definitely true. But even if you don’t have time to invest into sync orbs, consider getting this strong sync pair to save for a later day.
